2dbcc037cc arm: socfpga: Only do 'is OS booted from FIT' checking when VAB is enabled
Check CONFIG_SOCFPGA_SECURE_VAB_AUTH before perform 'is OS booted from FIT'
checking in board_prep_linux function. And, fix typo of
CONFIG_SOCFPGA_SECURE_VAB_AUTH_ALLOW_NON_FIT_IMAGE.

CONFIG_FIT will be enabled in both ATF and VAB boot flow, thus,
board_prep_linux function will always be called by both ATF and
VAB boot flow.

board_pre_linux function will do 'is OS booted from FIT' checking,
and it will be called before board_fit_image_post_process function.

VAB boot flow expects the OS is always booted from FIT and with VAB
signed cerfiticate because the VAB authentication is implemented in
board_fit_image_post_process function. So, VAB needs the 'is OS booted
from FIT' checking in board_pre_linux function.

However, for ATF boot flow, it is not a requirement that the OS must
always booted from FIT. The OS can be booted from individual Image and
kernel dtb file. Thus, we should not do 'if OS is booted from FIT'
checking in board_prep_linux function.

1bc20897c1 arm: socfpga: soc64: Support Vendor Authorized Boot (VAB)
Vendor Authorized Boot is a security feature for authenticating
the images such as U-Boot, ARM trusted Firmware, Linux kernel,
device tree blob and etc loaded from FIT. After those images are
loaded from FIT, the VAB certificate and signature block appended
at the end of each image are sent to Secure Device Manager (SDM)
for authentication. U-Boot will validate the SHA384 of the image
against the SHA384 hash stored in the VAB certificate before
sending the image to SDM for authentication.

35b65dd8ef reset: Remove addr parameter from reset_cpu()
Historically, the reset_cpu() function had an `addr` parameter which was
meant to pass in an address of the reset vector location, where the CPU
should reset to. This feature is no longer used anywhere in U-Boot as
all reset_cpu() implementations now ignore the passed value. Generic
code has been added which always calls reset_cpu() with `0` which means
this feature can no longer be used easily anyway.

Over time, many implementations seem to have "misunderstood" the
existence of this parameter as a way to customize/parameterize the reset
(e.g. COLD vs WARM resets). As this is not properly supported, the
code will almost always not do what it is intended to (because all
call-sites just call reset_cpu() with 0).

To avoid confusion and to clean up the codebase from unused left-overs
of the past, remove the `addr` parameter entirely. Code which intends
to support different kinds of resets should be rewritten as a sysreset
driver instead.

This transformation was done with the following coccinelle patch:

    @@
    expression argvalue;
    @@
    - reset_cpu(argvalue)
    + reset_cpu()

    @@
    identifier argname;
    type argtype;

401d1c4f5d common: Drop asm/global_data.h from common header
Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In
a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding

336d4615f8 dm: core: Create a new header file for 'compat' features
At present dm/device.h includes the linux-compatible features. This
requires including linux/compat.h which in turn includes a lot of headers.
One of these is malloc.h which we thus end up including in every file in
U-Boot. Apart from the inefficiency of this, it is problematic for sandbox
which needs to use the system malloc() in some files.

Move the compatibility features into a separate header file.

97a72bc286 ARM: socfpga: Purge pending transactions upon enabling bridges on Gen5
On Gen5, when the FPGA is loaded and there was some prior interaction
between the HPS and the FPGA via bridges (e.g. Linux was running and
using some of the IPs in the FPGA) followed by warm reset, it has been
observed that there might be outstanding unfinished transactions. This
leads to an obscure misbehavior of the bridge.

When the bridge is enabled again in U-Boot and there are outstanding
transactions, a read from within the bridge address range would return
a result of the previous read instead. Example:
=> bridge enable ; md 0xff200000 1
ff200000: 1234abcd
=> bridge enable ; md 0xff200010 1
ff200010: 5678dcba <------- this is in fact a value which is stored in
                            a memory at 0xff200000
=> bridge enable ; md 0xff200000 1
ff200000: 90effe09 <------- this is in fact a value which is stored in
                            a memory at 0xff200010
and so it continues. Issuing a write does lock the system up completely.

This patch opens the FPGA bridges in 'bridge enable' command, the tears
them down again, and then opens them again. This allows these outstanding
transactions to complete and makes this misbehavior go away.

However, it is not entirely clear whether this is the correct solution.

476abb72e0 ARM: socfpga: Clear PL310 early in SPL
On SoCFPGA A10 systems, it can rarely happen that a reboot from Linux
will result in stale data in PL310 L2 cache controller. Even if the L2
cache controller is disabled via the CTRL register CTRL_EN bit, those
data can interfere with operation of devices using DMA, like e.g. the
DWMMC controller. This can in turn cause e.g. SPL to fail reading data
from SD/MMC.

The obvious solution here would be to fully reset the L2 cache controller
via the reset manager MPUMODRST L2 bit, however this causes bus hang even
if executed entirely from L1 I-cache to avoid generating any bus traffic
through the L2 cache controller.

This patch thus configures and enables the L2 cache controller very early
in the SPL boot process, clears the L2 cache and disables the L2 cache
controller again.

The reason for doing it in SPL is because we need to avoid accessing any
of the potentially stale data in the L2 cache, and we are certain any of
the stale data will be below the OCRAM address range. To further reduce
bus traffic during the L2 cache invalidation, we enable L1 I-cache and
run the invalidation code entirely out of the L1 I-cache.

990ed4452c arm: socfpga: Re-add support for Aries MCV SoM and MCVEV[KP] board
Re-add support for Aries Embedded MCV SoM, which is CycloneV based
and the associated MCVEVK and MCVEVP baseboard. The board can boot
from eMMC. Ethernet and USB is supported.

The Aries Embedded boards have been removed with commit 03b54997d5
("board/aries: Remove"). I will now take care of them.

The device-tree files are from mainline Linux commit e93c9c99a629
("Linux v5.1)".

48ec73453a arm: sofcpga: s10: remove unused ad-hoc reset code
The stratix 10 reset manager ad-hoc code in arch/arm contains an unused
function 'reset_deassert_peripherals_handoff' that has been added from
the beginning. As this is probably a result of copying the gen5 reset
manager and this function has never been used, remove it.

430b42f76a arm: socfpga: remove re-added ad-hoc reset code
commit c5de2b7eae ("arm: socfpga: implement proper peripheral reset")
has removed the call to 'reset_deassert_peripherals_handoff()' from
socfpga gen5 SPL since the reset driver now handles resets. However,
commit c1d4b464c8 ("ARM: socfpga: Disable bridges in SPL unless booting from FPGA")
has re-added this ad-hoc reset code, so that all peripherals were now
again enabled instead of letting the drivers enable them by request.

While at it, remove this function for gen5 as it should not be used.

0a42a132a4 ARM: socfpga: Add FPGA drivers for Arria 10 FPGA bitstream loading
Add FPGA driver to support program FPGA with FPGA bitstream loading from
filesystem. The driver are designed based on generic firmware loader
framework. The driver can handle FPGA program operation from loading FPGA
bitstream in flash to memory and then to program FPGA.

a03e9d9fe5 ARM: socfpga: stratix10: Disable FPGA2SOC reset
Software must never reset FPGA2SOC bridge. This bridge must only be
reset by POR/COLD/WARM reset. Asserting the FPGA2SOC reset by software
can cause the SoC to lock-up if there are traffics being drived into
FPGA2SOC bridge.
