EEC is being enabled based on the ddr size populated by SPD data.
But not all keystone platforms have SPD data to detect ddr3 size.
So, enable ECC using the detected DDR size.

When beagleboard-X15 is booted, we see the following log:
Unidentified board claims BBRDX15_ in eeprom header
This is because of the missing check for x15 (the default) and reports
an error for a valid board configuration. Fix the same.

These config targets were added well before the Kconfig migration began
as a way to demonstrate how to make these platforms work with cut down
features. At this point in time they no longer serve a good purpose so

Modify the SPL build procedure for AM437x high-security (HS) device
variants to create a secure u-boot_HS.img FIT blob that contains U-Boot
and DTB artifacts signed (and optionally encrypted) with a TI-specific
process based on the CONFIG_TI_SECURE_DEVICE config option and the
externally-provided image signing tool.
Also populate the corresponding FIT image post processing call to be
performed during SPL runtime.

Align the name of the defconfig file for high-security (HS) device variants
from the AM43xx family of SoCs with the corresponding name used for the
general purpose devices. This allows for easier cross-association of those
files and also provides room to grow from an HS device part number
perspective.
Furthermore, update and cleanup associated MAINTAINERS file.

Currently omap_vcores which holds pmic data is being assigned based
on the SoC type. PMIC is not a part of SoC. It is logical to
to assign omap_vcores based on board type. Hence over ride the
vcores_init function and assign omap_vcores based on the board type.

BOOTCFG_RSTMUX8 register controls the reset mux associated with the ARM.
Timer5(dedicated to ARM) when used as WatchDog timer, the events it
generates are routed to the above mux.
Following are the 3 events that can controlled bt the reset mux:
- Device Reset
- An interrupt to the ARM_GIC
- An interrupt to the ARM_GIC followed by a device reset.
Right now to give a default watchdog behaviour "Device reset" is
being selected.

The voltage values for each voltage domain at an OPP is identical
across all the SoCs in the DRA7 family. The current code defines
one set of macros for DRA75x/DRA74x SoCs and another set for DRA72x
macros. Consolidate both these sets into a single set.
This is done so as to minimize the number of macros used when voltage
values will be added for other OPPs as well.

Define a set of common macros for the efuse register offsets
(different for each OPP) that are used to get the AVS Class 0
voltage values and ABB configuration values. Assign these
common macros to the register offsets for OPP_NOM by default
for all voltage domains. These common macros can then be
redefined properly to point to the OPP specific efuse register
offset based on the desired OPP to program a specific voltage
domain.

CONFIG_USB_XHCI_OMAP can be set for host mode without setting
CONFIG_USB_DWC3 which is meant for gadget mode only.
board_usb_init() was not being defined for CONFIG_USB_XHCI_OMAP
resulting in a data abort on usb start.
Define board_usb_init() for CONFIG_USB_XHCI_OMAP case. Move
gadget specific handling to within CONFIG_USB_DWC3.

Different AM335x based platforms have different serial consoles. As serial
console is Kconfig option a separate defconfig has to be created for each
platform. So pass the serial device dynamically.

In order to enable cpsw on AM335x ICEv2 board, the following needs to be done:
1)There are few on board jumper settings which gives a choice between
cpsw and PRUSS, that needs to be properly selected[1]. Even after selecting
this, there are few GPIOs which control these muxes that needs to be held high.
2) The clock to PHY is provided by a PLL-based clock synthesizer[2] connected
via I2C. This needs to properly programmed and locked for PHY operation.
And PHY needs to be reset before before being used, which is also held by
a GPIO.
3) RMII mode needs to be selected.

AM335x ICEv2 contains a 2Gbit(128Mx16) of DDR3 SDRAM(MT41J128M16JT-125),
capable of running at 400MHz. Adding this specific DDR configuration
details running at 400MHz.

Removing:
uart3_defconfig:
Now uart3 can be selected using menuconfig, removing separate
config for uart mode. Doing uart boot is not straight forward as ROM uses
uart3 as default serial console. In order to boot to prompt, concole in both
u-boot and kernel needs to be changed.
qspiboot_defconfig:
The only advantage of enabling QSPI_BOOT is selecting env in QSPI.
Eventually env needs to be selected by menuconfig so removing
qspiboot_defconfig. qspiboot can be done using dra7xx_evm_defconfig.

Adds the board specific ft_board_setup() functions that
are called when CONFIG_OF_BOARD_SETUP is defined. These functions
will currently just call the ft_cpu_setup() function.
Adds CONFIG_OF_BOARD_SETUP to the defconfig files
for dra72_evm, dra74_evm, and am57xx_evm.

Adds code to detect AM43xx HS EVMS - the string in the
I2C EEPROM for HS EVMs differs from GP EVMs. Adds code to
for evm detection, regardless of whether the evm is for
GP or HS parts, and updates board init to use that.
Modifies findfdt command to pick up am437x-gp-evm.dtb for
the HS EVMs also, as the boards are similar except for
some security specific changes around power supply and
enclosure protection.

ABB should be initialized for all required domains voltage domain
for DRA7: IVA, GPU, EVE in addition to the existing MPU domain. If
we do not do this, kernel configuring just the frequency using the
default boot loader configured voltage can fail on many corner lot
units and has been hard to debug. This specifically is a concern with
DRA7 generation of SoCs since other than VDD_MPU, all other domains
are only permitted to setup the voltages to required OPP only at boot.

ABB TX_DONE mask will vary depending on ABB module. For example,
3630 never had ABB on IVA domain, while OMAP5 does use ABB on MM domain,
DRA7 has it on all domains with the exception of CORE, RTC.
Hence, move the txdone mask definition over to structure describing
voltage domain.

init_sata() is done as part of scsi_init() in

The MAC addresses for the PRU Ethernet ports will be available in the
board EEPROM as an address range. Populate those MAC addresses (if valid)
into the u-boot environment so that they can be passed on to the
device tree during fdt_fixup_ethernet().

Add the pinmux data for rev C evm. This is different from previous
revisions of the platform thanks to the deltas introduced both from
silicon side and from SoC side.
Based on J6EcoES2_EVM_Base_Config-20160309b and PCT-DRA72x-v1.3.0.7 for
SR2.0 silicon.

DDR configuration has changes from SR1.1 based Rev-A/B version of evm
to the SR2.0 based Rev C of the EVM. Rev C evm now uses the higher
density MT41K512M8RH-125-AAT:E (IT) which is of size 2GB.
Update the DDR configuration based on data from EMIF configuration
tool 1.1.1. NOTE: we use eeprom information (ram_size) to update the
configuration.

After booting has finished, EFI allows firmware to still interact with the OS
using the "runtime services". These callbacks live in a separate address space,
since they are available long after U-Boot has been overwritten by the OS.
This patch adds enough framework for arbitrary code inside of U-Boot to become
a runtime service with the right section attributes set. For now, we don't make
use of it yet though.
We could maybe in the future map U-boot environment variables to EFI variables
here.

Boards using the TWL6030 regulator may not all use the LDOs the same way.
Some might also not use MMC1 at all, so VMMC would't have to be enabled.
This delegates TWL6030 MMC power initializations to board-specific functions,
that may still call twl6030_power_mmc_init for the default behavior.

sequence to avoid glitch. Adding all the mux configuration, MANUAL/VIRTUAL
mode configuration as needed for DRA72-evm.

The REVH and later versions of DRA7-evm uses MICRON MT41K512M16HA-125 memory
chips which is of size 4GB(2GB on EMIF1 and 2GB on EMIF2). Add support for the

A few boards still use ns16550_platdata structures, but assume the structure
is going to be in a specific order. By explicitly naming each entry,
this should also help 'future-proof' in the event the structure changes.
Tested on the Logic PD Torpedo + Wireless.
I only changed a handful of devices that used the same syntax as the Logic
board. Appologies if I missed one or stepped on toes. Thanks to Derald Woods

Because KS2 u-boot works in 32 bit address space the existing ram_size
global data field cannot be used. The maximum, which the get_ram_size()
can detect is 2GB only. The ft_board_setup() needs the actual ddr3 size
to fix up dtb.
This commit introduces the ddr3_get_size() which uses SPD data to
calculate the ddr3 size. This function replaces the "ddr3_size"
environment variable, which was used to get the SODIMM size.
For platforms, which don't have SODIMM with SPD and ddr3 is populated to
a board a simple ddr3_get_size function that returns ddr3 size has to be
implemented. See hardware-k2l.h

This commit replaces hard-coded EMIF and PHY DDR3 configurations for
predefined SODIMMs to a calculated configuration. The SODIMM parameters
are read from SODIMM's SPD and used to calculated the configuration.
The current commit supports calculation for DDR3 with 1600MHz and 1333MHz
only.

EFUSE_BOOTROM register. As there is already a framework for reading this
register, adding support for all possible speeds on k2g devices.

Current AM57xx evm supports both BeagleBoard-X15
(http://beagleboard.org/x15) and AM57xx EVM
(http://www.ti.com/tool/tmdxevm5728).
The AM572x EValuation Module(EVM) provides an affordable platform to
quickly start evaluation of Sitara. ARM Cortex-A15 AM57x Processors
(AM5728, AM5726, AM5718, AM5716) and accelerate development for HMI,
machine vision, networking, medical imaging and many other industrial
applications. This EVM is based on the same BeagleBoard-X15 Chassis
and adds mPCIe, mSATA, LCD, touchscreen, Camera, push button and TI's
wlink8 offering.
Since the EEPROM contents are compatible between the BeagleBoard-X15 and
the AM57xx-evm, we add support for the detection logic to enable
support for various user programmable scripting capability.
NOTE: U-boot configuration is currently a superset of AM57xx evm and
BeagleBoard-X15 and no additional configuration tweaking is needed.
This change also sets up the stage for future support of TI AM57xx EVMs
to the same base bootloader build.

Several TI EVMs have EEPROM that can contain board description information
such as revision, DDR definition, serial number, etc. In just about all
cases, these EEPROM are on the I2C bus and provides us the opportunity
to centralize the generic operations involved.
The on-board EEPROM on the BeagleBone Black, BeagleBone, AM335x EVM,
AM43x GP EVM, AM57xx-evm, BeagleBoard-X15 share the same format.
However, DRA-7* EVMs, OMAP4SDP use a modified format.
We hence introduce logic which is generic between these platforms
without enforcing any specific format. This allows the boards to use the
relevant format for operations that they might choose.
This module will compile for all TI SoC based boards when
CONFIG_TI_I2C_BOARD_DETECT is enabled to have optimal build times for
platforms that require this support.
It is important to note that this logic is fundamental to the board
configuration process such as DDR configuration which is needed in
SPL, hence cannot be part of the standard u-boot driver model (which
is available later in the process). Hence, to aid efficiency, the
eeprom contents are copied over to SRAM scratchpad memory area at the
first invocation to retrieve data.
To prevent churn with cases such as DRA7, where eeprom format maybe
incompatible, we introduce a generic common format in eeprom which
is made available over accessor functions for usage.
Special handling for BBG1 EEPROM had to be introduced thanks to the
weird eeprom rev contents used.
The follow on patches introduce the use of this library for AM335x,
AM437x, and AM57xx.

According to Data Manual(SPRS915P) of AM572x, TI QSPI controller on
DRA74 EVM(rev 1.1+) can support up to 64MHz in MODE-0, whereas MODE-3 is
limited to 48MHz. Hence, switch to MODE-0 for better throughput.
Also, add IODelay parameters for the same.

The WAKEUP_X pins are always an input no matter the pinmux mode.
However, the 18th bit that typical configures a pin as an input is
considered reserved for the WAKEUP_X pins. Therefore, for any WAKEUP
pin remove any configuration that sets that pin as an input. Since
those pins are only inputs remove any output configuration from those
pins.

BeagleBoard X15 (http://beagleboard.org/x15) support in u-boot does
actually support two different platform configuration offered by
TI. In addition to BeagleBoard X15, it also supports the TMDXEVM5728
(or more commonly known as AM5728-evm).

The EVM configuration is 1-1 compatible with BeagleBoard X15 with the
additional support for mPCIe, mSATA, LCD, touchscreen, Camera, push
button and TI's wlink8 offering.
Hence, we rename the beagle_x15 directory to am57xx to support TI
EVMs that use the AM57xx processor. By doing this we have common code
reuse. This sets the stage to have a common u-boot image solution for
multiple TI EVMs such as that already done for am335x and am437x. This
sets the stage for upcoming multiple TI EVMs that share the same code
base.
NOTE: Commit eae7ae1853 ("am437x: Add am57xx_evm_defconfig using
CONFIG_DM") introduced DT support for beagle_x15 under am57xx_evm
platform name. However, this ignored the potential confusion arising for
users as a result. To prevent this, existing beagle_x15_defconfig is
renamed as am57xx_evm_nodt_defconfig to denote that this is the "non
device tree" configuration for the same platform. We still retain
am57xx-beagle-x15.dts at this point, since we just require the common
minimum dts.
As a result of this change, users should expect changes in build
procedures('make am57xx_evm_nodt_defconfig' instead of 'make
beagle_x15_defconfig'). Hopefully, this would be a one-time change.

Currently omap_hsmmc driver doesn't use sdcd pin to detect
whether the card is present or not. Instead the same pin is used
as GPIO to detect card presence. So change the pin mux mode from
mmc0_sdcd to gpio0_6.

Phy mode is a board property and it can be different between
multiple board and ports, so it should not be hardcoded in
driver to one specific mode. So adding a field in eth_priv_t

On keystone2 Lamarr and Edison platforms, the PA clocksource
mux in PLL REG1, can be changed only after enabling its clock
domain.
So selecting the output of PASS PLL as input to PA only after
enabling the clockdomain.

NAND boot mode, ROM expects an image with a gp header in the
beginning and an 8bytes filled with zeros at the end. The same is
true for SD boot on K2G platforms but the file name should be MLO.
Renaming u-boot-nand.gph to MLO, so that same image can be used for
NAND and SD boots. And also not including all the u-boot only images
under CONFIG_SPL_BUILD.

DP83865 ethernet phy used on DRA74x-evm is quirky and the datasheet
provided IODELAY values for standard RGMII phys do not work.
Silicon Revision(SR) 2.0 provides an alternative bit configuration
that allows us to do a "gross adjustment" to launch the data off a
different internal clock edge. Manual IO Delay overrides are still
necessary to fine tune the clock-to-data delays. This is a necessary
workaround for the quirky ethernet Phy we have on the platform.
NOTE: SMA registers are spare "kitchen sink" registers that does
contain bits for other workaround as necessary as well. Hence the
control for the same is introduced in a generic SoC specific, board
generic location.

Silicon revision 2.0 has new signal routing hence has an updated set of
iodelay parameters to be used. Update the configuration for the same.
Padmux remains the same.

NOTE: With respect to the RGMII values, the Manual IODelay values
are used for the fine adjusments needed to meet the tight RGMII
specification.

There are two types of PLL for all keystone platforms:
Main PLL, Secondary PLL. Instead of duplicating the same definition
for each secondary PLL, have a common function which does
initialization for both PLLs. And also add proper register
definitions.

If board is booted with transitions happening on DCAN1 pins then
the following warning is seen in the kernel at boot when the
hwmod layer initializes.
"omap_hwmod: dcan1: _wait_target_disable failed"
This is because DCAN1 module's SWAKEUP mechanism is broken
and it fails to correctly turn OFF if it sees a transition on the
DCAN1 pins. Suggested workaround is to keep DCAN1 pins in safe mode
while enabling/disabling DCAN1 module.
The hwmod layer enables and disables all modules at boot
and we have no opportunity to put the DCAN1 pins in safe mode
at that point.
DCAN1 is not used by u-boot so it doesn't matter to it if these
pins are in safe mode. The kernel driver correctly configures
the right mode when DCAN1 is active.

we currently use in-development IODelay values for DRA72x which are
proposed in the data sheet, however, DRA72x EVM uses DP83865 ethernet
Phy over RGMII. The PHY characteristics and routing choices made on
the EVM, make the current iodelay values fail ethernet communication.
Instead, we need to choose custom values for DRA72x-evm specifically
designed for the PHY and routing on the platform for ethernet to
function.

The recent changes for hw leveling on am33xx were not intended for
DDR2 boards, only DDR3. Update emif_sdram_type to take a sdram_config
value to check against. This lets us pass in the value we would use to
configure, when we have not yet configured the board yet. In other cases
update the call to be as functional as before and check an already
programmed value in.

When DLL_CALIB_INTERVAL is set, an extra delay is added
which is not required and it consumes EMIF bandwidth.

DM3730 CPU used on beagleboard-xm doesn't have any gpio
multiplexed with wait0 pin,
but gpio_63 multiplexed with wait1, so it looks like typo.
At current form it has no sense,

UART3 RX and TX pins are now moved to support uart download capability
on the platform. Old pins are now GPIOs routed to expansion ports.
All original boards should either have been returned for modifications
or already modified for the required change and maintaining
compatibility for older boards are no longer needed.

This patch populates serial number environment variable from
die_id_0 and die_id_1 register values for DRA7xx boards.
The function is added in omap common code so that this can be re-used.
Serial# environment variable will be useful to show correct
information in "fastboot devices" commands.

As mentioned in the previous commit, adding default values in each
Kconfig causes problems because it does not co-exist with the
"depends on" syntax. (Please note this is not a bug of Kconfig.)
We should not do so unless we have a special reason. Actually,
for CONFIG_DM*, we have no good reason to do so.
Generally, CONFIG_DM is not a user-configurable option. Once we
convert a driver into Driver Model, the board only works with Driver
Model, i.e. CONFIG_DM must be always enabled for that board.
So, using "select DM" is more suitable rather than allowing users to
modify it. Another good thing is, Kconfig warns unmet dependencies
for "select" syntax, so we easily notice bugs.
Actually, CONFIG_DM and other related options have been added
without consistency: some into arch/*/Kconfig, some into
board/*/Kconfig, and some into configs/*_defconfig.
This commit prefers "select" and cleans up the following issues.
[1] Never use "CONFIG_DM=n" in defconfig files
It is really rare to add "CONFIG_FOO=n" to disable CONFIG options.
It is more common to use "# CONFIG_FOO is not set". But here, we
do not even have to do it.
Less than half of OMAP3 boards have been converted to Driver Model.
Adding the default values to arch/arm/cpu/armv7/omap3/Kconfig is
weird. Instead, add "select DM" only to appropriate boards, which
eventually eliminates "CONFIG_DM=n", etc.
[2] Delete redundant CONFIGs
Sandbox sets CONFIG_DM in arch/sandbox/Kconfig and defines it again
in configs/sandbox_defconfig.
Likewise, OMAP3 sets CONFIG_DM arch/arm/cpu/armv7/omap3/Kconfig and
defines it also in omap3_beagle_defconfig and devkit8000_defconfig.

Commit d3cfcb3 (ARM: DRA7: Enable clocks for USB OTGSS and USB PHY)
changed the member names of prcm_regs from cm_l3init_usb_otg_ss_clkctrl
to cm_l3init_usb_otg_ss1_clkctrl and from cm_coreaon_usb_phy_core_clkctrl
to cm_coreaon_usb_phy1_core_clkctrl in order to differentiate between
the two dwc3 controllers present in dra7xx/am43xx and enabled these
clocks in enable_basic_clocks() in hw_data.c. However these clocks
continued to be enabled in board files/driver files for dwc3 host
mode functionality causing compilation break with few configs.
Fixed it here by making all the clocks enabled in enable_basic_clocks()
and removing it from board files/driver files here.

Since we support multiple dwc3 controllers to be existent at the same
time, in order to handle the interrupts of a particular dwc3 controller
usb_gadget_handle_interrutps should take controller index as an
argument.
Hence the API of usb_gadget_handle_interrupts is modified to take
controller index as an argument and made the corresponding changes to all
the usb_gadget_handle_interrupts calls.

This option has a bool type, not hex.
Fix it and enable it if CONFIG_DM is on because Driver Model always
requires malloc memory. Devices are scanned twice, before/after
relocation. CONFIG_SYS_MALLOC_F should be enabled to use malloc
memory before relocation. As it is board-independent, handle it
globally.

KS2 ddr3 initialization uses ddr3_size global variable before u-boot
relocation. Even if the variable is not being used after relocation,
writing to it corrupts relocation table.
This patch removes the global ddr3_size variable and uses local one
instead.

The value in SDRAM_REF_CTRL controls the delay time between
the initial rising edge of DDR_RESETn to rising edge of DDR_CKE
(JEDEC specs this as 500us). In order to achieve this, SDRAM_REF_CTRL
should be written with a value corresponding to 500us delay before
starting DDR initialization sequence, and configure proper
value at the end of sequence.

Make sure that all OPPs are checked on
scale_vcores(). While at that also fix 600MHz
VDD_MPU voltage according to AM437x Data Manual
available at [1].

Switch to using hardware leveling for certain parameters on the EMIF
rather than using precalculated values. Doing this also means we have a
common place now between am437x and am335x for setting
emif_sdram_ref_ctrl with a value for the correct delay length.

47a4bea6af ("ARM: omap4: Update sdram
setting for panda rev A6") Which broke SDP4430 with ES2.3 (uses old
DDR).
So, to maintain support for newer DDR used in Panda ES rev B3, we
should, in addition to the commit
675cc77a3a ("ARM:OMAP4+: panda-es: Support
Rev B3 Elpida DDR2 RAM"), DDR timings, also do DMM configuration
specific to Panda.

The comments on the QSPI pad assignments erronously swapped
the qspi1_d0 and qspi1_d1 functionality and could cause
confusion. QSPI1_D[0] is in fact muxed on pad U1 (gpmc_a16),
and QSPI1_D[1] - on pad P3 (gpmc_a17). Fixing comments.

Boards using the TWL4030 regulator may not all use the LDOs the same way
(e.g. MMC2 power can be controlled by another LDO than VMMC2).
This delegates TWL4030 MMC power initializations to board-specific functions,
that may still call twl4030_power_mmc_init for the default behavior.

This function can fail if the device tree runs out of space. Rather than
silently booting with an incomplete device tree, allow the failure to be
detected.
Unfortunately this involves changing a lot of places in the code. I have
not changed behvaiour to return an error where one is not currently
returned, to avoid unexpected breakage.
Eventually it would be nice to allow boards to register functions to be
called to update the device tree. This would avoid all the many functions
to do this. However it's not clear yet if this should be done using driver
model or with a linker list. This work is left for later.

This commit introduces a Kconfig symbol for each ARM CPU:
CPU_ARM720T, CPU_ARM920T, CPU_ARM926EJS, CPU_ARM946ES, CPU_ARM1136,
CPU_ARM1176, CPU_V7, CPU_PXA, CPU_SA1100.
Also, it adds the CPU feature Kconfig symbol HAS_VBAR which is selected
for CPU_ARM1176 and CPU_V7.
For each target, the corresponding CPU is selected and the definition of
SYS_CPU in the corresponding Kconfig file is removed.
Also, it removes redundant "string" type in some Kconfig files.

In the case of Beaglebone Black we only want to set the NAND or NOR cape
pinmux when the config has been specifically modified by the user for
this non-default case. Make the default be to set the MMC1 (eMMC)
pinmux. We don't need similar changes for Beaglebone White as there is
nothing on MMC1 by default there.

This patch adds the DDR3 ECC support to enable ECC in the DDR3
EMIF controller for Keystone II devices.
By default, ECC will only be enabled if RMW is supported in the
DDR EMIF controller. The entire DDR memory will be scrubbed to
zero using an EDMA channel after ECC is enabled and before
u-boot is re-located to DDR memory.
An ecc_test environment variable is added for ECC testing.
If ecc_test is set to 0, a detection of 2-bit error will reset
the device, if ecc_test is set to 1, 2-bit error detection
will not reset the device, user can still boot the kernel to
check the ECC error handling in kernel.

after NETCP domain and PA module are enabled. So create new function

Remove unused tx_send_loop variable.
Removes duplicated get_link_status() call from the
keystone2_eth_send_packet().
The emac_gigabit_enable() is called at opening Ethernet and there is no
need to enable it on sending each packet. So remove that call
from keystone2_eth_send_packet() as well.
The calling of power/clock up functions are mostly the responsibility
of SoC/board code, so move these functions to appropriate place.

Update readme file for Keystone II EVM boards to actual sources.
Also correct some typos. For now the Edison evaluation board is
added, README for K2E is mostly the same, so update README to
contain information also for K2E evm. Rename file to README as
it contains information for all keystone evm boards.

i2c2 pullup resisters are controlled by bit 0 of CONTROL_PROG_IO1.
It's value after reset is 0x00100001.
In order to clear bit 0, original code write 0xfffffffe to
CONTROL_PROG_IO1 and toggle almost all default values.
Original code affect following:
* disable i2c1 pullup resisters
* increase far end load setting for many modules
* setup invalid SC/LB combination

(patman: RunPipe() should not pipe stdout/stderr unless asked),
Patman spits lots of "Invalid MAINTAINERS address: '-'"
error messages for patches with global changes.
It takes too long for Patman to process them.
Anyway, "M: -" does not carry any important information.
Rather, it is just like a place holder in case of assigning
a new board maintainer. Let's comment out.

The "S: Orphan" in MAINTAINERS means that the maintainer in the
"M:" field is unreachable (i.e. the email address is not working).
(Refer to the definition of "Orphan" adopted in U-Boot
in the log of commit 31f1b654b2,
"boards.cfg: move boards with invalid emails to Orphan")
For patch files adding global changes, scripts/get_maintainer.pl
adds bunch of such invalid email addresses, which results in
tons of annoying bounce emails.

This patch implements a workaround to fix DDR3 memory issue.
The code for workaround detects PGSR0 errors and then preps for
and executes a software-controlled hard reset.In board_early_init,
where logic has been added to identify whether or not the previous
reset was a PORz. PLL initialization is skipped in the case of a
software-controlled hard reset.

DRA7 evm REV G and later boards uses a vtt regulator for DDR3 termination
and this is controlled by gpio7_11. Configuring gpio7_11.
The pad A22(offset 0x3b4) is used by gpio7_11 on REV G and later boards,
and left unused on previous boards, so it is safe enough to enable gpio
on all DRA7 boards.

This patch adds support for parallel NOR device (S29GL512S10) present on J6-EVM.
The Flash device is connected to GPMC controller on chip-select[0] and accessed
as memory-mapped device. It has data-witdh=x16, capacity-64MBytes(512Mbits) and
is CFI compatible.
As multiple devices are share GPMC pins on this board, so following board
settings are required to detect NOR device:

This patch adds support for NAND device connected to GPMC chip-select on
following AM43xx EVM boards.
am437x-gp-evm: On this board, NAND Flash signals are muxed with eMMC, thus at a
time either eMMC or NAND can be enabled. Selection between eMMC and NAND is
controlled by:
(a) Statically using Jumper on connecter (J89) present on board.
(a) If Jumper on J89 is NOT used, then selection can be dynamically controlled
by driving SPI2_CS0[MUX_MODE=GPIO] pin via software:

am43x-epos-evm: On this board, NAND Flash control lines are muxed with QSPI,
Thus only one of the two can be used at a time. Selection is controlled by:
(a) Dynamically driving following GPIO pin from software
GPMC_A0(GPIO) == 0 NAND is selected (default)
NAND device (MT29F4G08AB) on these boards has:
- data-width=8bits
- blocksize=256KB
- pagesize=4KB
- oobsize=224 bytes
For above NAND device, ROM code expects the boot-loader to be flashed in BCH16
ECC scheme for NAND boot, So by default BCH16 ECC is enabled for AM43xx EVMs.

This patch adds support of NOR cape[1] for both Beaglebone (white) and
Beaglebone(Black) boards. NOR Flash on this cape is connected to GPMC
chip-select[0] and accesses as external memory-mapped device.
This cape has 128Mbits(16MBytes), x16, CFI compatible NOR Flash device.
As GPMC chip-select[0] can be shared by multiple capes so NOR profile is
not enabled by default in boards.cfg. Following changes are required to
enable NOR cape detection when building am335x_boneblack board profile.

Beaglebone Board can be connected to expansion boards to add devices to them.
These expansion boards are called 'capes'. This patch adds support for
following versions of Beaglebone(AM335x) NAND capes
(a) NAND Device with bus-width=16, block-size=128k, page-size=2k, oob-size=64
(b) NAND Device with bus-width=16, block-size=256k, page-size=4k, oob-size=224

* How to boot from NAND using Memory Expander + NAND Cape ? *
- Important: As BOOTSEL values are sampled only at POR, so after changing any
setting on SW2 (DIP switch), disconnect and reconnect all board power supply
(including mini-USB console port) to POR the beaglebone.
- Selection of ECC scheme
for NAND cape(a), ROM code expects BCH8_HW ecc-scheme
for NAND cape(b), ROM code expects BCH16_HW ecc-scheme
- Selction of boot modes can be controlled via DIP switch(SW2) present on
Memory Expander cape.
SW2[SWITCH_BOOT] == OFF follow default boot order MMC-> SPI -> UART -> USB
SW2[SWITCH_BOOT] == ON boot mode selected via DIP switch(SW2)
So to flash NAND, first boot via MMC or other sources and then switch to
SW2[SWITCH_BOOT]=ON to boot from NAND Cape.

As Beaglebone board shares the same config as AM335x EVM, so following
changes are required in addition to this patch for Beaglebone NAND cape.
(1) Enable NAND in am335x_beaglebone board profile
(2) Add CONFIG_SYS_NAND_BUSWIDTH_16BIT to board config because:
- AM335x EVM has NAND device with datawidth=8, whereas
- Beaglebone NAND cape has NAND device with data-width=16

We have switched to Kconfig and the boards.cfg file is going to
be removed. We have to retrieve the board status and maintainers
information from it.
The MAINTAINERS format as in Linux Kernel would be nice
because we can crib the scripts/get_maintainer.pl script.
After some discussion, we chose to put a MAINTAINERS file under each
board directory, not the top-level one because we want to collect
relevant information for a board into a single place.
TODO:
Modify get_maintainer.pl to scan multiple MAINTAINERS files.

In Linux Kernel, defconfig files are located under
arch/${ARCH}/configs/ directory.
It works in Linux Kernel since ARCH is always given from the
command line for cross compile.
But in U-Boot, ARCH is not given from the command line.
Which means we cannot know ARCH until the board configuration is done.
That is why all the "*_defconfig" files should be gathered into a
single directory ./configs/.

It's convenient to hold configurations for DDR3 PHY and EMIF in
separate common place. This patch moves K2HK DDR3 PHY and EMIF
configuration data with different rates and memory size to a common
ddr3_cfg.c file.

With latest v3.13 kernel, unitrd dt fixup is not needed. However for
older kernel versions such as v3.8/v3.10, it is needed. So to work
with both, add a u-boot env variable that can be set to do dt fixup
for older kernels.

Use KS2_ prefix in all definitions, for that replace K2HK_ prefix and
add KS2_ prefix where it's needed. It requires to change names also
in places where they're used. Align lines and remove redundant
definitions in kardware-k2hk.h at the same time.
Using common KS2_ prefix helps resolve redundant redefinitions and
adds opportunity to use KS2_ definition across a project not thinking about
what SoC should be used. It's more convenient and we don't need to worry
about the SoC type in common files, hardware.h will think about that.
The hardware.h decides definitions of what SoC to use.

As noted by clang, we have been shifting certain values out of 32bit
range when setting some DDR registers. Upon further inspection these
had been touching reserved fields (and having no impact). These came in
from historical bring-up code and can be discarded. Similarly, we had
been declaring some fields as 0 when they will be initialized that way.
Tested on Beaglebone White.

Add script to automate NAND flash process. As for now the board has
two burn scripts - burn to boot from SPI NOR flash and burn to boot
from AEMIF NAND flash, rename burn_uboot script to burn_uboot_spi.
Also update README to contain NAND burn U-boot process description.

non optimal ddr3 timings in the EMIF
* Since ddr3 timings are different after significant board layout changes

J6 EVM can be built with UART3 as console, but currently
there's nothing muxing UART3 correctly. Likely this only
works because, based on commit log, author was only testing
with UART3 boot and - I assume - ROM code leave UART3 correctly
muxed in that case.
If we want to boot from MMC and still use UART3 as console,
then we need to mux those signals correctly.

AM437x Starter Kit has a qspi flash and gbit ethernet
support. By muxing those signals, we can use those
interfaces from u-boot.

AM43xx Starter Kit is a new board based on
AM437x line of SoCs. Being a low-cost EVM and
small size EVM are intended to provide an entry
