b9b4f146c9 mmc: fsl_esdhc: Fix i.MX53 eSDHCv3 clock
Commit 4f425280fa ("mmc: fsl_esdhc: Allow all supported prescaler
values") made it possible to set SYSCTL.SDCLKFS to 0 in SDR mode on
i.MX, thus bypassing the SD clock frequency prescaler, in order to be
able to get higher SD clock frequencies in some contexts. However, that
commit missed the fact that this value is illegal on the eSDHCv3
instance of the i.MX53. This seems to be the only exception on i.MX,
this value being legal even for the eSDHCv2 instances of the i.MX53.

Fix this issue by changing the minimum prescaler value for the single
instance of the i.MX53 eSDHCv3 controller.

db359efd59 mmc: fsl_esdhc: Fix eMMC 1.8v setting issue
Current USDHC driver will reset VSELECT to 0 (3.3v) during mmc init,
then set to 1 for 1.8v eMMC I/O. When booting from eMMC, since ROM has
already set VSELECT to 1.8v before running the u-boot. This reset in
USDHC driver causes a short 2.2v pulse on CMD pin.

Fix this issue by not reset VSELECT to 0 when 1.8v flag is set.

bcfb365375 mmc: fsl_esdhc: Fix PIO timeout
The following error has been observed on i.MX25 with a high-speed SDSC
card:
Data Write Failed in PIO Mode.

It was caused by the timeout set on PRSSTAT.BWEN, which was triggered
because this bit takes 15 ms to be set after writing the first block to
DATPORT with this card. Without this timeout, all the blocks are
properly written.

This timeout was implemented by decrementing a variable, so it was
depending on the CPU frequency. Fix this issue by setting this timeout
to a long enough absolute duration (500 ms).

Handle vqmmc supply. Some boards have a fixed I/O voltage
at 1.8V for emmc, so the usdhc also needs to be configured

32a9179f3a mmc: fsl_esdhc: introduce vs18_enable for 1.8V fix I/O
When using eMMC with 1.8V I/O, the VSELECT bit need to be set in
the USDHC controller when init.

This patch adds a parameter "vs18_enable" in fsl_esdhc_cfg
structure and priv data, so each controller can have different
settings.

We could not use CONFIG_SYS_FSL_ESDHC_FORCE_VSELECT, it has problem
that it will apply to all USDHC controllers and it only set the 1.8V
at init phase. So if user does not select to the eMMC device,
the voltage on the I/O pins are not correct.

a821c4af79 dm: Rename dev_addr..() functions
These support the flat device tree. We want to use the dev_read_..()
prefix for functions that support both flat tree and live tree. So rename
the existing functions to avoid confusion.

In the end we will have:

   1. dev_read_addr...() - works on devices, supports flat/live tree
   2. devfdt_get_addr...() - current functions, flat tree only
   3. of_get_address() etc. - new functions, live tree only

All drivers will be written to use 1. That function will in turn call
either 2 or 3 depending on whether the flat or live tree is in use.

Note this involves changing some dead code - the imx_lpi2c.c file.

1483151e84 mmc: fsl: introduce wp_enable
Introudce wp_enable. To check WPSPL, wp_enable needs to be set
to 1 in board code.

Take i.MX6UL for example, for some boards, they do not use WP singal,
so they does not configure USDHC1_WP_SELECT_INPUT, and its default
value is 0(GPIO1_IO02). However GPIO1_IO02 is muxed for i2c usage and
SION bit set. So USDHC controller can always get wp signal and WPSPL
shows write protect and blocks driver continuing. This is not what
we want to see, so add wp_enable, and if set to 0, just omit the
WPSPL checking and this does not effect normal working of usdhc
controller.

If wp-gpios is provided in dts, wp_enable is set to 1, otherwise 0.

84ecdf6da9 fsl_esdhc: Update clock enable bits for USDHC
The USDHC moves the 4 clock bits CARD_CLK_SOFT_EN, IPG_PERCLK_SOFT_EN,
HCLK_SOFT_EN, and IPG_CLK_SOFT_EN from sysctl register to vendorspec
register. The driver uses RSTA to replace the clock gate off
operation. But this is not a good solution because:
1. when using RSTA, we should wait this bit to clear by itself. This is not
   implemeneted in the code.
2. After RSTA is set, it is recommended that the Host Driver reset the
   external card and reinitialize it.

So in this patch, we change to use the vendorspec registers for these bits
operation.

4683b22065 mmc:fsl_esdhc invalidate dcache before read
DCIMVAC is upgraded to DCCIMVAC for the individual processor
(Cortex-A7) that the DCIMVAC is executed on.

We should follow the linux dma follow. Before DMA read, first
invalidate dcache then after DMA read, invalidate dcache again.

With the DMA direction DMA_FROM_DEVICE, the dcache need be
invalidated again after the DMA completion. The reason is
that we need explicity make sure the dcache been invalidated
thus to get the DMA'ed memory correctly from the physical memory.
Any cache-line fill during the DMA operations such as the
pre-fetching can cause the DMA coherency issue, thus CPU get the stale data.

fb823981c5 mmc: fsl_esdhc: fix calculation of timeout for data transactions
Calculation of the timeout value should be based on actual clock value,
written to controller registers. Since mmc->tran_speed is either the
maximum allowed speed, or the preliminary value, that is be not yet
set to registers, the actual timeout, taken by the controller, based
on its clock settings, may be much longer than expected, based on
mmc->tran_speed value. In particular it happens at early initialization
stage, when typical value of mmc->tran_speed is 20MHz or 26MHz, while
actual clock setting, configured in the controller, is 400kHz.
It's more correct to use mmc->clock value for timeout calculation instead.

93bfd61677 mmc: Split mmc struct, rework mmc initialization (v2)
The way that struct mmc was implemented was a bit of a mess;
configuration and internal state all jumbled up in a single structure.

On top of that the way initialization is done with mmc_register leads
to a lot of duplicated code in drivers.

Typically the initialization got something like this in every driver.

	struct mmc *mmc = malloc(sizeof(struct mmc));
	memset(mmc, 0, sizeof(struct mmc);
/* fill in fields of mmc struct */
/* store private data pointer */
	mmc_register(mmc);

By using the new mmc_create call one just passes an mmc config struct
and an optional private data pointer like this:

	struct mmc = mmc_create(&cfg, priv);

All in tree drivers have been updated to the new form, and expect
mmc_register to go away before long.

Changes since v1:

* Use calloc instead of manually calling memset.
* Mark mmc_register as deprecated.

01b77353e4 fsl_esdhc: Do not clear interrupt status bits until data processed
After waiting for the command completion event, the interrupt status
bits, that occured to be set by that time, are cleared by writing them
back. It is supposed, that it should be command related bits (command
complete and may be command errors).

However, in some cases the DMA already completes by that time before
the full transaction completes. The corresponding DINT bit gets set
and then cleared before even entering the loop, waiting for data part
completion. That waiting loop never gets this bit set, causing the
operation to hang. This is reported to happen, for example, for write
operation of 1 sector to upper area (block #7400000) of SanDisk Ultra II
8GB card.

The solution could be to explicitly clear only command related interrupt
status bits. However, since subsequent processing does not rely on
any command bits state, it could be easier just to remove clearing
of any bits at that point, leaving them all until all data processing
completes. After that the whole register will be cleared at once.

Also, on occasion, interrupts masking moved to before writing the command,
just for the case there should be no chance of interrupt between the first
command and interrupts masking.

9b74dc56fb fsl_esdhc: Fix DMA transfer completion waiting loop
Rework the waiting for transfer completion loop condition
to continue waiting until both Transfer Complete and DMA End
interrupts occur. Checking of DLA bit in Present State register
looks not needed in addition to interrupts status checking,
so it can be removed from the condition. Also, DMA Error
condition is added to the list of data errors, checked in the loop.

aad4659a2f mmc: i.MX6: fsl_esdhc: Define maximum bus width supported by a board
Maximum bus width supported by some i.MX6 boards is not 8bit like
others. In case where both host controller and card support 8bit transfers,
they agree to communicate on 8bit interface while some boards support only 4bit interface.
Due to this reason the mmc 8bit default mode fails on these boards. To rectify this,
define maximum bus width supported by these boards (4bit). If max_bus_width is not
defined, it is 0 by default and 8bit width support will be enabled in host
capabilities otherwise host capabilities are modified accordingly.

It is tested with a MMCplus card.

a2ac1b3a7d mxc: Fix SDHC multi-instance clock
On mxc, each SDHC instance has a dedicated clock, so gd->sdhc_clk is not
suitable for the multi-instance use case (initialization made directly with
fsl_esdhc_initialize()).

This patch fixes this issue by adding a configuration field for the SDHC input
clock frequency.

16e43f354d fsl_esdhc: Remove cache snooping for i.MX
The cache snooping feature of Freescale's eSDHC IP is not available on i.MX, so
disable it globally for this architecture. This avoids setting no_snoop for all
i.MX boards, and it prevents setting a reserved bit of a reserved register if
fsl_esdhc_mmc_init() is used on i.MX, like in
arch/arm/cpu/armv7/imx-common/cpu.c/cpu_mmc_init().

Since no_snoop was only used on i.MX, get rid of it BTW.
