853eaa4f30 Drop digital thermometer and thermostat (DTT) drivers
This subsystem is quite old. It has been replaced with a driver-model
version (UCLASS_THERMAL). Boards are free to convert to that if required,
but here is a removal patch that could be applied in the meantime.

2fbb8462b0 autoboot: remove CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK
As the help message of CONFIG_BOOTDELAY says, CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-2
means the autoboot with no delay, with no abort check even if
CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK is defined.

To sum up, the autoboot behaves as follows:

 [1] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=0 && CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK=y
autoboot with no delay, but you can abort it by key input

 [2] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=0 && CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK=n
autoboot with no delay, with no check for abort

 [3] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-1
    disable autoboot

 [4] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-2
autoboot with no delay, with no check for abort

As you notice, [2] and [4] come to the same result, which means we
do not need CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK. We can control all the
cases only by CONFIG_BOOTDELAY, like this:

 [1] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=0
autoboot with no delay, but you can abort it by key input

 [2] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-1
    disable autoboot

 [3] CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-2
autoboot with no delay, with no check for abort

This commit converts the logic as follow:
  CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=0 && CONFIG_ZERO_BOOTDELAY_CHECK=n
    --> CONFIG_BOOTDELAY=-2

73223f0e1b Kconfig: Move CONFIG_FIT and related options to Kconfig
There are already two FIT options in Kconfig but the CONFIG options are
still in the header files. We need to do a proper move to fix this.

Move these options to Kconfig and tidy up board configuration:

   CONFIG_FIT
   CONFIG_OF_BOARD_SETUP
   CONFIG_OF_SYSTEM_SETUP
   CONFIG_FIT_SIGNATURE
   CONFIG_FIT_BEST_MATCH
   CONFIG_FIT_VERBOSE
   CONFIG_OF_STDOUT_VIA_ALIAS
   CONFIG_RSA

Unfortunately the first one is a little complicated. We need to make sure
this option is not enabled in SPL by this change. Also this option is
enabled automatically in the host builds by defining CONFIG_FIT in the
image.h file. To solve this, add a new IMAGE_USE_FIT #define which can
be used in files that are built on the host but must also build for U-Boot
and SPL.

Note: Masahiro's moveconfig.py script is amazing.

25efd99dbb nand_spl: store ecc data on the stack
Adapt the following patch from spl to nand_spl:

  Date: Thu Dec 15 10:55:37 2011 +0100

nand_spl_simple: store ecc data on the stack

Currently nand_spl_simple puts it's temp data at 0x10000 offset in SDRAM
which is likely to contain already loaded data.
The patch saves the oob data and the ecc on the stack replacing
      the fixed address in RAM.

While nand_spl is on its way out, in favor of spl, there are still
many boards using it, and conversions are gradual. This allows us
to get rid of CONFIG_SYS_NAND_ECCSTEPS and CONFIG_SYS_NAND_ECCTOTAL now,
which would otherwise be likely to linger unreferenced after a conversion.

It also eliminates a temporary error in the hawkboard_nand build, since
the spl version of the patch removed ECCSTEPS/TOTAL from hawkboard.h, but
the spl conversion is pending (and may be merged via a different tree).

25ddd1fb0a Replace CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE by auto-generated value
CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not
being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files.
Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not
reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into
GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the
asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be
deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all
files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file.

No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar
changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro
definitions as well.

d98b0523cf powerpc: Cleanup BOOTFLAG_* references
Now that warm booting is not supported, there isn't a need for the
BOOTFLAG_COLD and BOOTFLAG_WARM defines, so remove them.

Note that this change makes the board info bd_bootflags field useless.
It will always be set to 0, but we leave it around so that we don't
break the board info structure that some OSes are expecting to be passed
from U-Boot.

2ae1824196 Makefile: move all Power Architecture boards into boards.cfg
Clean up Makefile, and drop a lot of the config.mk files on the way.

We now also automatically pick all boards that are listed in
boards.cfg (and with all configurations), so we can drop the redundant
entries from MAKEALL to avoid building these twice.

14d0a02a16 Rename TEXT_BASE into CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE
The change is currently needed to be able to remove the board
configuration scripting from the top level Makefile and replace it by
a simple, table driven script.

Moving this configuration setting into the "CONFIG_*" name space is
also desirable because it is needed if we ever should move forward to
a Kconfig driven configuration system.
