There is no real need to exactly define space for saving patterns for
alternate memory test. It is much easier to allocate space on the stack and
use it instead of trying to find out space where pattern should be saved.
For example if you want to test the whole DDR memory you can't save patter
to DDR and you need to find it out. On Xilinx devices DDR or OCM addresses
were chosen but that means that OCM needs to be mapped and U-Boot has
access permission there.
It is easier to remove this limitation and simply save it on stack because
it is very clear that memory test can't rewrite U-Boot and U-Boot has also
full access to memory where runs from.

At present if CONFIG_SPL_GPIO_SUPPORT is enabled then the GPIO uclass
is included in SPL/TPL without any control for boards. Some boards may
want to disable this to reduce code size where GPIOs are not needed in
SPL or TPL.
Add a new Kconfig option to permit this. Default it to 'y' so that
existing boards work correctly.
Change existing uses of CONFIG_DM_GPIO to CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(DM_GPIO) to
preserve the current behaviour. Also update the 74x164 GPIO driver since
it cannot build with SPL.
This allows us to remove the hacks in config_uncmd_spl.h and
Makefile.uncmd_spl (eventually those files should be removed).

- In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of
CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so.
- On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define
to 0.
- Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR.
- Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it.
- Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and
SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT
- On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR
for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location.
- On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but
rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default.
- Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use
CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within
ENV_IS_IN_FLASH.
- Migrate all platforms.

We have CONFIG_ENV_SIZE_IS_REDUND but don't really use it. We have one
board where we can simply multiple CONFIG_ENV_SIZE by two for the same
result. The other place where we could but were not previously using
this is for where env_internal.h checks for if we should set
ENV_IS_EMBEDDED. This seems like the most likely use, historically, of
the variable, but it was not used. Add logic to check for this now.

Most boards currently use SPI_FLASH_MTD only in U-Boot proper, not in
SPL. They often rely on hacks in the board header files to include
this option conditionally. To be able to fix this, we previously
introduced a separate option SPL_SPI_FLASH_MTD.
Therefore we can now adjust the Makefile and change the code in
sf_probe.c and sf_internal.h to use CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(SPI_FLASH_MTD).
We also need to move all occurences of CONFIG_SPI_FLASH_MTD from the
header files to the according defconfigs. The affected boards are
socfpga, aristainetos, cm_fx6, display5, ventana, rcar-gen2, dh_imx6
and da850evm.
We do this all in one patch to guarantee bisectibility.
This change was tested with buildman to make sure it does not
introduce any regressions by comparing the resulting binary sizes.

Now that new SPI NOR layer uses stateless 4 byte opcodes by default,
don't enable SPI_FLASH_BAR. For SPI controllers that cannot support
4-byte addressing, (stm32_qspi.c, fsl_qspi.c, mtk_qspi.c, ich.c,
renesas_rpc_spi.c) add an imply clause to enable SPI_FLASH_BAR so as to
not break functionality.

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.
In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.
This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

MX6Q/QP IPU operates at 264MHz and MX6DL IPU at 198MHz.
When running a SPL target, which supports multiple MX6 variants we cannot
properly setup the IPU clock frequency via CONFIG_IPUV3_CLK option as
such decision is done in build-time currently.
Remove the CONFIG_IPUV3_CLK option and let the IPU clock frequency be
configured in run-time on mx6.

This syncs all of the currently Kconfig'd symbols out of the headers and
into the defconfig files. This has two exceptions, first am335x_evm
needs to be converted to DM in SPL and then it can stop undef'ing
CONFIG_DM_USB. Leaving this as-is results in a build failure, and
without work, run time failure. The other case is am43xx_evm.h and in
turn am43xx_evm_usbhost_boot. The problem here is that we need DWC3 USB
host mode in SPL, but still desire to have gadget mode in U-Boot proper.

In fact this already exists for sunxi as a 'choice' config. However not
all the choices are available in Kconfig yet so we cannot use that. It
would lead to more than one option being set.
In addition, one purpose of this series is to allow the environment to be
stored in more than one place. So the existing choice is converted to a
normal config allowing each option to be set independently.
There are not many opportunities for Kconfig updates to reduce the size of
this patch. This was tested with
./tools/moveconfig.py -i CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_MMC
And then manual updates. This is because for CHAIN_OF_TRUST boards they
can only have ENV_IS_NOWHERE set, so we enforce that via Kconfig logic
now.

The hwconfig env var allows user to control hardware specific configuration
of board specific features but not all Ventana boards have the same features.
We will use the magic default value of "_UNKNOWN_" to signify that the
bootloader should create this based on detected board model.

3b1f681131 caused a regression that removes
board info dispaly for Gateworks Ventana boards because it made the invalid
assumption that CONFIG_DISPLAY_BOARDINFO_LATE was the same thing as
CONFIG_DISPLAY_BOARDINFO.
Ventana needs to call show_board_info in late init because we need to have
the i2c eeprom based model info. Re-define CONFIG_DISPLAY_BOARDINFO_LATE
to allow that to happen.

The IMX6 PCIe host controller does not have a proper reset and as such there
are several issues that can arise if PCI is enabled in the bootloader follwed
by Linux trying to re-configure LTSSM and/or toggling PERST# to the devices.
For now, the best approach seems to default to disabling PCI by defaulting
pciedisable=1. This can be overridden by the user if they need PCI in the
bootloader, for example:
- GW552x needing ethernet access in bootloader
- GW16082 expansion board needing a device-tree fixup for irq mapping

In order to make the default boot scripts more flexible, use the variable
'fs' to specify the filesystem type to use for block storage devices
(USB/MMC/SATA) when loading files.
Additionally default this to ext4 and enable ext4 filesystem support
(which encompasses ext2 support) instead of just ext2 support.

'disk' to specify the disk device number and the variable 'part' to specify
the partition number.

Remove SPL_EXT_SUPPORT to resolve build issue. It may be useful to bring
it back in the future after comparing its merits to storing the args/kernel
in fixed raw locations.

NAND+MMC env support costs 12KB in the SPL which is fairly expensive just
for the ability to specify whether or not to boot to uboot or directly
to linux. The Ventana boards have plenty of EEPROM storage so we will use
a byte there to signify if we should boot to the bootloader or to the OS.

This syncs up the current cmd/Kconfig and include/configs/ files with the
only exception being CMD_NAND. Due to how we have used this historically
we need to take further care here when converting.

config headers. This is also probably fixes am335x_baltos board.

Move CONFIG_USB_GADGET_DUALSPEED option to Kconfig and
make all UDC controllers select USB_GADGET_DUALSPEED:
- add next options to Kconfig selecting USB_GADGET_DUALSPEED:
- USB_GADGET_ATMEL_USBA
- USB_GADGET_DWC2_OTG
- USB_DWC3
- CI_UDC
- make USB_MUSB_GADGET select USB_GADGET_DUALSPEED
While at it, make some related fixes:
- remove DUALSPEED from configs that don't enable gadget support:
- kwb.h
- tseries.h
- add missing USB_GADGET option to next configs:
- novena_defconfig
- pcm051_rev*_defconfig
- xfi3_defconfig

The description was borrowed from kernel. Definitions were added to
defconfig files in a way that "make savedefconfig" generates exactly
the same file as used defconfig.
Boards using 0 mA as CONFIG_USB_GADGET_VBUS_DRAW value were moved to use
2 mA (as minimal allowed by Kconfig).

to "bool" (I believe we don't support modules for u-boot yet, right?).
CONFIG_USB_GADGET requires CONFIG_USB to be defined too, so add it along
as well.
Definitions were added to defconfig files in a way that
"make savedefconfig" generates exactly the same file as used defconfig.

There are already two FIT options in Kconfig but the CONFIG options are
still in the header files. We need to do a proper move to fix this.
Move these options to Kconfig and tidy up board configuration:

CONFIG_OF_SYSTEM_SETUP
CONFIG_FIT_SIGNATURE
CONFIG_FIT_BEST_MATCH
CONFIG_FIT_VERBOSE

Unfortunately the first one is a little complicated. We need to make sure
this option is not enabled in SPL by this change. Also this option is
enabled automatically in the host builds by defining CONFIG_FIT in the
image.h file. To solve this, add a new IMAGE_USE_FIT #define which can
be used in files that are built on the host but must also build for U-Boot
and SPL.
Note: Masahiro's moveconfig.py script is amazing.
