Kconfig: Move CONFIG_FIT and related options to Kconfig There are already two FIT options in Kconfig but the CONFIG options are still in the header files. We need to do a proper move to fix this. Move these options to Kconfig and tidy up board configuration: CONFIG_FIT CONFIG_OF_BOARD_SETUP CONFIG_OF_SYSTEM_SETUP CONFIG_FIT_SIGNATURE CONFIG_FIT_BEST_MATCH CONFIG_FIT_VERBOSE CONFIG_OF_STDOUT_VIA_ALIAS CONFIG_RSA Unfortunately the first one is a little complicated. We need to make sure this option is not enabled in SPL by this change. Also this option is enabled automatically in the host builds by defining CONFIG_FIT in the image.h file. To solve this, add a new IMAGE_USE_FIT #define which can be used in files that are built on the host but must also build for U-Boot and SPL. Note: Masahiro's moveconfig.py script is amazing. Finish conversion of CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ to Kconfig In order to finish moving this symbol to Kconfig for all platforms, we need to do a few more things. First, for all platforms that define this to a function, introduce CONFIG_DYNAMIC_SYS_CLK_FREQ, similar to CONFIG_DYNAMIC_DDR_CLK_FREQ and populate clock_legacy.h. This entails also switching all users from CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ to get_board_sys_clk() and updating a few preprocessor tests. With that done, all platforms that define a value here can be converted to Kconfig, and a fall-back of zero is sufficiently safe to use (and what is used today in cases where code may or may not have this available). nxp: Migrate CONFIG_DDR_CLK_FREQ to Kconfig As this symbol can either be a fixed value or the function get_board_ddr_clk, migration is tricky. Introduce a choice of DYNAMIC or STATIC_DDR_CLK_FREQ. If DYNAMIC, we continue to use the board defined get_board_ddr_clk function. If STATIC, set CONFIG_DDR_CLK_FREQ to that value and now include/clock_legacy.h contains the function prototype or defines get_board_ddr_clk() to that static value.
