8f758683a8 usb: gadget: dwc2_udc_otg: set ep's desc during enable/disable
Fastboot support has been broken on platforms using dwc2 controller
since the gadget gets its max packet size from it.
This patch is the equivalent of 723fd5668f which fixed the same issue
but for the chipidea controller.

0a7e5e5f10 usb: gadget: dwc2_udc_otg: Fix dwc2_gadget_start() and usb_gadget_register_driver()
Since commit 8745b9ebcc ("usb: gadget: add super speed support")
ums was no more functional on platform which use dwc2_udc_otg driver.

This was due to a too restrictive test which checked that the gadget
driver speed was either FS or HS.

So all gadget driver with max speed set to speed higher than
HS (SS in case of composite gadget driver in our case) are not
allowed, which is wrong.

Update the speed test in usb_gadget_register_driver() and in
dwc2_gadget_start() to allow all gadget driver speed equal or higher
than FS.

Tested on stm32mp157c-ev1 board.

db8fb2ffc4 usb: dwc2: change compatible st,stm32mp1-hsotg to st,stm32mp15-hsotg
The Linux kernel v5.7-rc1 introduced the compatible "st,stm32mp15-hsotg".

See Linux kernel commit d49850110434 ("dt-bindings: usb: dwc2: add
support for STM32MP15 SoCs USB OTG HS and FS")

This patch updates the supported compatible in DWC2 driver,
removes the add-on done in U-Boot dtsi and keeps the compatible
defined in SOC dtsi arch/arm/dts/stm32mp151.dtsi:

usbotg_hs: usb-otg@49000000 {
	compatible = "st,stm32mp15-hsotg", "snps,dwc2";

f10643cf8a dm: core: Access device ofnode through functions
At present ofnode is present in the device even if it is never used. With
of-platdata this field is not used, so can be removed. In preparation for
this, change the access to go through inline functions.

caa4daa2ae dm: treewide: Rename 'platdata' variables to just 'plat'
We use 'priv' for private data but often use 'platdata' for platform data.
We can't really use 'pdata' since that is ambiguous (it could mean private
or platform data).

Rename some of the latter variables to end with 'plat' for consistency.

41575d8e4c dm: treewide: Rename auto_alloc_size members to be shorter
This construct is quite long-winded. In earlier days it made some sense
since auto-allocation was a strange concept. But with driver model now
used pretty universally, we can shorten this to 'auto'. This reduces
verbosity and makes it easier to read.

Coincidentally it also ensures that every declaration is on one line,
thus making dtoc's job easier.

5739ef2bcb usb: dwc2: add "u-boot,force-vbus-detection" for stm32
On some board, the ID pin is not connected so the B session must be
overridden with "u-boot,force_b_session_valid" but the VBus sensing
must continue to be handle.

To managed it, this patch adds a new DT field
"u-boot,force-vbus-detection" to use with "u-boot,force_b_session_valid"

ac28e59a57 usb: Migrate to support live DT for some driver
Use ofnode_ instead of fdt_ APIs so that the drivers can support live DT.
This patch updates usb_get_dr_mode() and usb_get_maximum_speed() to use
ofnode as parameter instead of fdt offset. And all the drivers who use
these APIs update to use live dt APIs at the same time.

336d4615f8 dm: core: Create a new header file for 'compat' features
At present dm/device.h includes the linux-compatible features. This
requires including linux/compat.h which in turn includes a lot of headers.
One of these is malloc.h which we thus end up including in every file in
U-Boot. Apart from the inefficiency of this, it is problematic for sandbox
which needs to use the system malloc() in some files.

Move the compatibility features into a separate header file.

61b29b8268 dm: core: Require users of devres to include the header
At present devres.h is included in all files that include dm.h but few
make use of it. Also this pulls in linux/compat which adds several more
headers. Drop the automatic inclusion and require files to include devres
themselves. This provides a good indication of which files use devres.

c4d08cb9b1 usb: dwc2_udc_otg: add bcm2835 SoC (Raspberry Pi4) support
Broadcom 2835 SoC requires special conversion of physical memory addresses
for DMA purpose, so add needed wrappers to dwc2_udc_otg driver. Also extend
the list of compatible devices with 'brcm,bcm2835-usb' entry. This allows
to use USB gadget drivers (i.e. DFU) on Raspberry Pi4 boards.

6fe7dd3327 stm32mp1: add stusb1600 support for DK1 and DK2 board
The DK1 and DK2 boards use the USB Type-C controller STUSB1600.
This patch updates:
- the device tree to add the I2C node in the DT
- the board stm32mp1 to probe this I2C device and use this controller
  to check cable detection.
- the DWC2 driver to support a new dt property
  "u-boot,force-b-session-valid" which forces B session and
  device mode; it is a workaround because the VBUS sensing and
  ID detection isn't available with stusb1600.

763bb106f6 usb: dwc2_udc_otg: Add tx_fifo_sz array support
All TX fifo size can be different, add tx_fifo_sz_array[]
into dwc2_plat_otg_data to be able to set them.

tx_fifo_sz_array[] is 17 Bytes long and can contains max 16
tx fifo size (synopsys IP supports max 16 IN endpoints).
First entry of tx_fifo_sz_array[] is the number of valid
fifo size the array contains.

In case of tx_fifo_sz_array[] doesn't contains the same
number of element than max hardware endpoint, display
a warning message.

Compatibility with board which doesn't use tx_fifo_sz_array[]
(Rockchip rk322x/rk3128/rv1108/rk3288/rk3036) is kept.

5bd97e8073 usb: dwc2_udc_otg: Read MAX_HW_ENDPOINT from HWCFG4 register
Some DWC2 ip variant doesn't use 16 hardware endpoint as hardcoded
in the driver. Bits INEps [29:26] of HWCFG4 register allows to get
this information.

916fa09799 usb: composite: Move bitmap related operations to ./include/linux/bitmap.h
The BITMAP related operations can now be moved to ./include/linux/bitmap.h
file to mimic the Linux kernel directory tree.

This change also allows to remove the lin_gadget_compat.h header file
(which is a legacy code only for composite U-boot layer).
It was also possible to remove #includes from several USB gadget drivers.

83d290c56f SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel style
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from.  So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry.  Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.

In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.

This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents.  There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

9b643e312d treewide: replace with error() with pr_err()
U-Boot widely uses error() as a bit noisier variant of printf().

This macro causes name conflict with the following line in
include/linux/compiler-gcc.h:

  # define __compiletime_error(message) __attribute__((error(message)))

This prevents us from using __compiletime_error(), and makes it
difficult to fully sync BUILD_BUG macros with Linux.  (Notice
Linux's BUILD_BUG_ON_MSG is implemented by using compiletime_assert().)

Let's convert error() into now treewide-available pr_err().

Done with the help of Coccinelle, excluing tools/ directory.

The semantic patch I used is as follows:

8c9b4d5598 usb: gadget: dwc2_udc_otg: modified the check condition for max packet size of ep_in in high speed
In current high speed fastboot, fs_ep_in.wMaxPacketSize is configured 64 bytes
as default, as a result, it failed to match the size at initialization stage in
usb controller.
Actually, hardware can support less than or equal to 512 bytes in high speed mode,
so I changed the condition from  '!=' to '>' to fix this issue.
