9d716339fb arm: mvebu: Espressobin: Disable slot when emmc is not present
This change extends previous commit 061c6d1b23 ("arm: mvebu: Espressobin:
Detect presence of emmc at runtime") and when emmc is not present then emmc
is removed from U-Boot DM and corresponding slot is disabled. Therefore on
Espressobin board without soldered emmc, state of emmc hw should be same as
if emmc was disabled in DTS.

caa4daa2ae dm: treewide: Rename 'platdata' variables to just 'plat'
We use 'priv' for private data but often use 'platdata' for platform data.
We can't really use 'pdata' since that is ambiguous (it could mean private
or platform data).

Rename some of the latter variables to end with 'plat' for consistency.

41575d8e4c dm: treewide: Rename auto_alloc_size members to be shorter
This construct is quite long-winded. In earlier days it made some sense
since auto-allocation was a strange concept. But with driver model now
used pretty universally, we can shorten this to 'auto'. This reduces
verbosity and makes it easier to read.

Coincidentally it also ensures that every declaration is on one line,
thus making dtoc's job easier.

e79c59c0e2 mmc: xenon_sdhci: Add missing common host capabilities
Use mmc_of_parse() to set the common host properties. That includes
"bus-width", so parsing it can be removed from the driver.

But more importantly, "non-removable" is now respected, which fixes
the usage of eMMC.

91b85e25b6 mmc: xenon: set signal voltage and max base clock
- The SDIO signal voltage and max base clock frequency
  setting are missing in driver, which causes SDIO

- The patch adds SDIO signal voltage switch support,
  which is based on regulator-gpio of vqmmc-supply, and
  sets the max base clock frequency.
- Fix the zero clock value in call to sdhci_setup_cfg()
  function.

8613c8d897 treewide: convert (void *)devfdt_get_addr() to dev_read_addr_ptr()
Use the _ptr suffixed variant instead of casting. Also, convert it to
dev_read_addr_ptr(), which is safe to CONFIG_OF_LIVE.

One curious part is an error check like follows in
drivers/watchdog/omap_wdt.c:

    priv->regs = (struct wd_timer *)devfdt_get_addr(dev);
    if (!priv->regs)
            return -EINVAL;

devfdt_get_addr() returns FDT_ADDR_T_NONE (i.e. -1) on error.
So, this code does not catch any error in DT parsing.

dev_read_addr_ptr() returns NULL on error, so this error check
will work.

I generated this commit by the following command:

 $ find . -name .git -prune -o -name '*.[ch]' -type f -print | \
   xargs sed -i -e 's/([^*)]*\*)devfdt_get_addr(/dev_read_addr_ptr(/'

I manually fixed drivers/usb/host/ehci-mx6.c

83d290c56f SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel style
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.

In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.

This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

b08c8c4870 libfdt: move headers to <linux/libfdt.h> and <linux/libfdt_env.h>
Thomas reported U-Boot failed to build host tools if libfdt-devel
package is installed because tools include libfdt headers from
/usr/include/ instead of using internal ones.

This commit moves the header code:
  include/libfdt.h         -> include/linux/libfdt.h
  include/libfdt_env.h     -> include/linux/libfdt_env.h

and replaces include directives:
  #include <libfdt.h>      -> #include <linux/libfdt.h>
  #include <libfdt_env.h>  -> #include <linux/libfdt_env.h>

9b643e312d treewide: replace with error() with pr_err()
U-Boot widely uses error() as a bit noisier variant of printf().

This macro causes name conflict with the following line in
include/linux/compiler-gcc.h:

  # define __compiletime_error(message) __attribute__((error(message)))

This prevents us from using __compiletime_error(), and makes it
difficult to fully sync BUILD_BUG macros with Linux. (Notice
Linux's BUILD_BUG_ON_MSG is implemented by using compiletime_assert().)

Let's convert error() into now treewide-available pr_err().

Done with the help of Coccinelle, excluing tools/ directory.

The semantic patch I used is as follows:

// <smpl>
@@@@
-error
+pr_err
 (...)
// </smpl>

a821c4af79 dm: Rename dev_addr..() functions
These support the flat device tree. We want to use the dev_read_..()
prefix for functions that support both flat tree and live tree. So rename
the existing functions to avoid confusion.

In the end we will have:

   1. dev_read_addr...()    - works on devices, supports flat/live tree
   2. devfdt_get_addr...() - current functions, flat tree only
   3. of_get_address() etc. - new functions, live tree only

All drivers will be written to use 1. That function will in turn call
either 2 or 3 depending on whether the flat or live tree is in use.

Note this involves changing some dead code - the imx_lpi2c.c file.

de0359c21e mmc: xenon_sdhci: Add missing host->max_clk to Xenon SDHCI driver
The Xenon SDHCI driver just missed the integration of this patch:

git ID 6d0e34bf
mmc: sdhci: Distinguish between base clock and maximum peripheral frequency

With this patch applied, the SDHCI subsystem complains now with this warning
while probing:

sdhci_setup_cfg: Hardware doesn't specify base clock frequency

This patch fixes this issue, by providing the missing host->max_clk
variable to the SDHCI subsystem.
