We move all instances of CONFIG_MTDIDS_DEFAULT and
CONFIG_MTDPARTS_DEFAULT from the header files to the defconfig files.
There's a few cases here where we need to expand upon what was in the
header file.

CONFIG_NAND_DENALI select's CONFIG_SYS_NAND_SELF_INIT, so the
NAND initialization process is driven by the driver itself.
CONFIG_SYS_NAND_MAX_CHIPS and CONFIG_SYS_NAND_BASE are unused.

Currently these (board agnostic) commands cannot be selected using
menuconfig and friends. Fix this the obvious way. As part of this,
don't muddle the meaning of CONFIG_HASH_VERIFY to mean both 'hash -v'
and "we have a hashing command" as this makes the Kconfig logic odd.

Today, we have cases where we wish to build all of U-Boot in Thumb2 mode for
various reasons. We also have cases where we only build SPL in Thumb2 mode due
to size constraints and wish to build the rest of the system in ARM mode. So
in this migration we introduce a new symbol as well, SPL_SYS_THUMB_BUILD to
control if we build everything or just SPL (or in theory, just U-Boot) in
Thumb2 mode.

We repeated partial moves for CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH, but this is
not completed. Finish this work by the tool.
During this move, let's rename it to CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH.
Actually, we have more instances of "#ifndef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH"
than those of "#ifdef CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH". Flipping the logic will
make the code more readable. Besides, negative meaning symbols do
not fit in obj-$(CONFIG_...) style Makefiles.

Now, CONFIG_GENERIC_MMC seems equivalent to CONFIG_MMC.
Let's create an entry for "config GENERIC_MMC" with "default MMC",
then convert all macro defines in headers to Kconfig. Almost all
of the defines will go away.
I see only two exceptions:
configs/blanche_defconfig
configs/sandbox_noblk_defconfig
They define CONFIG_GENERIC_MMC, but not CONFIG_MMC. Something
might be wrong with these two boards, so should be checked later.
Anyway, this is the output of the moveconfig tool.

CONFIG_SOCFPGA_DWMMC_FIFO_DEPTH is defined in the socfpga_common.h,
but not referenced at all. Remove.
Also, clean-up the README.socfpga. CONFIG_MMC should not be defined
in the header since it was moved to Kconfig by commit c27269953b
("mmc: complete unfinished move of CONFIG_MMC"). I see no grep hit
for the others.

According to Section 11.15.4.9.2 Indirect Write Controller of K2G SoC
TRM SPRUHY8D[1], the external master is only permitted to issue 32-bit
data interface writes until the last word of an indirect transfer
otherwise indirect writes is known to fails sometimes. So, make sure
that QSPI indirect writes are 32 bit sized except for the last write. If
the txbuf is unaligned then use bounce buffer to avoid data aborts.
So, now that the driver uses bounce_buffer, enable CONFIG_BOUNCE_BUFFER
for all boards that use Cadence QSPI driver.

Commit 7a777f6d6f ("mmc: Add generic Kconfig option") created
a Kconfig entry for this option without any actual moves, then
commit 44c798799f ("sunxi: Use Kconfig CONFIG_MMC") moved
instances only for SUNXI.
We generally do not like such partial moves. This kind of work
is automated by tools/moveconfig.py, so it is pretty easy to
complete this move.
I am adding "default ARM || PPC || SANDBOX" (suggested by Tom).
This shortens the configs and will ease new board porting.

Introduce a hidden USB_FUNCTION_DFU Kconfig option and select it for
CMD_DFU (as we must have the DFU command enabled to do anything DFU).
Make all of the entries in drivers/dfu/Kconfig depend on CMD_DFU and add
options for all of the back end choices that DFU can make use of.

This series moves the CONFIG_SYS_CACHELINE_SIZE. First, in nearly all
cases we are mirroring the values used by the Linux Kernel here. Also,
so long as (and in this case, it is true) we implement flushes in hunks
that are no larger than the smallest implementation (and given that we
mirror the Linux Kernel, again we are fine) it is OK to align higher.
The biggest changes here are that we always use 64 bytes for CPU_V7 even
if for example the underlying core is only 32 bytes (this mirrors
Linux). Second, we say ARM64 uses 64 bytes not 128 (as found in the
Linux Kernel) as we do not need multi-platform support (to this degree)
and only the Cavium ThunderX 88xx series has a use for such large
alignment.

This fixes commit d31e9c575f ,
which broke booting from SD card on all SoCFPGA boards. The
patch assumes the bootloader partition to be partition 3, at
the end of the SD card, which doesn't make any sense. U-Boot
assumes the bootloader partition is partition 1 or that the
bootloader image is at offset +1 MiB from the start of SD card.

Before this patch, when booting from MMC (no filesystem), the SPL
loaded U-Boot from a fixed offset.
It will now load U-Boot from an offset of 256kB (which is 4 times the
padded SPL image) in the third partition.
This behaviour is similar to what the vendor SPL (based on
U-Boot 2013.01) does, and allows to directly 'dd' the
u-boot-with-spl.sfp file to the A2 partition.

Move all cases of CONFIG_SYS_HUSH_PARSER out of the config.h files. Remove
all cases of CONFIG_SYS_PROMPT_HUSH_PS2 as everyone uses the default.

The description was borrowed from kernel. Definitions were added to
defconfig files in a way that "make savedefconfig" generates exactly
the same file as used defconfig.
Boards using 0 mA as CONFIG_USB_GADGET_VBUS_DRAW value were moved to use
2 mA (as minimal allowed by Kconfig).

There are already two FIT options in Kconfig but the CONFIG options are
still in the header files. We need to do a proper move to fix this.
Move these options to Kconfig and tidy up board configuration:

Unfortunately the first one is a little complicated. We need to make sure
this option is not enabled in SPL by this change. Also this option is
enabled automatically in the host builds by defining CONFIG_FIT in the
image.h file. To solve this, add a new IMAGE_USE_FIT #define which can
be used in files that are built on the host but must also build for U-Boot
and SPL.
Note: Masahiro's moveconfig.py script is amazing.

config option to make it less misleading. No functional change, just

We have finished Generic Board conversion for ARM and PowerPC, i.e.
all the boards have been converted except OpenRISC, SuperH, SPARC,
which have not supported Generic Board framework yet.
Select SYS_GENERIC_BOARD in arch/Kconfig and delete all the macro
defines in include/configs/*.h.

By not defining CONFIG_SYS_ARM_CACHE_WRITEALLOC, the WRITEBACK cache
policy is selected. This leads to much better performance on the SoCFPGA.

We have flipped CONFIG_SPL_DISABLE_OF_CONTROL. We have cleansing
devices, $(SPL_) and CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(), so we are ready to clear
away the ugly logic in include/fdtdec.h:

Enable the mtdparts command and related options to make support
for SPI NOR MTD useful in any way. With the mtdparts command in
place, it is possible to use partition of the SPI NOR in U-Boot.

There is no need to disable support for partitions in the SPL,
we can support partitions in SPL perfectly well. This is likely
some remnant from old times, so just remove this configuration
option.
Moreover, the CRC32 chunk size doesn't have to be adjusted anymore,
since both the GD and malloc area are in RAM by the time this CRC
check can be used and there's plenty of space. Zap this abomination
as well.

Now that the SPL structure is organised such that it matches the
U-Boot's SPL design, it is possible to use the option of relocating
GD to RAM. And since we have GD in RAM, move malloc area to RAM as
well. We point the malloc base pointer 1 MiB past U-Boot's load
address. We use simple malloc for SPL because it is 3kiB smaller
in terms of code size than regular malloc which was used thus far.

Add code and configuration options to support booting from RAW
SD/MMC card as well as for ext4/vfat filesystems. Enable support
for booting from SD/MMC card, but don't enable the filesystem
support just yet to retain compatibility with old SoCFPGA card
format.
