In case the platform uses DM, determine port number, which is
used as offset in USBMISC registers, from PHY node DT aliases,
just like Linux does.

Split usb_power_config() per SoC and pass in USB PHY, USBNC and ANATOP
addresses instead of ad-hoc sequence numbers. This is only applicable
on legacy systems which do not implement proper PHY support. Once PHY
support is available, parts of this can be removed altogether and moved
to the PHY driver, similar to Linux phy-mxs-usb.c .

In order to pass component addresses around easily instead of passing
ad-hoc sequence numbers, it is necessary to split ehci_mx6_common_init().
Make it so and call the separate functions instead.
Since board_ehci_hcd_init() makes no sense in DM case, do not call it
in DM case.

In case DM and OF controler is enabled, but PHY support is disabled,
parse USB PHY and MISC component addresses from DT manually. Those
component addresses will be used in subsequent patches to access the
ANATOP, PHY and MISC registers matching the controller and thus get
rid of the ad-hoc controller sequence number mapping.

This introduces strlcat, which provides a safer interface than strncat. It
never copies more than its size bytes, including the terminating nul. In
addition, it never reads past dest[size - 1], even if dest is not
nul-terminated.
This also removes the stub for dwc3 now that we have a proper
implementation.

When flush cache of the current GPD and resume QMU, the controller
will try to access the next GPD after processing the current one,
if not flush the next GPD, the controller may get wrong GPD status.

If we do not set FIFO buffer address and size for some endpoint which is in
use then default programmed address 0x0 would be used which is in conflict
with address of FIFO buffer for endpoint 0. Moreover address of FIFO buffer
for endpoint 0 cannot be programmed, it is fixed to 0x0. Sharing address
space between more endpoints cause data loss and unexpected errors.
This patch is fixing transmission of characters over usbtty serial console
and allows using of usbtty for debugging purposes on Nokia N900.

Interrupt for EP0 is indicated in intrtx register via first bit. This bit
is set for both RX and TX despite register has only TX in its name. First
bit in intrrx register is reserved, not used and never set.
So remove calling musb_peri_ep0() function at every iteration of udc_irq()
and musb_peri_rx() and call it only from musb_peri_tx() when correct
interrupt bit in initrtx it set.
Address from SET ADDRESS command must be set to faddr register only after
acknowledging SERV_RXPKTRDY followed by received EP0 interrupt. So prior
calling musb_peri_ep0_set_address() check for EP0 interrupt instead of
(incorrect) MUSB_INTR_SOF interrupt.
This patch fixes issue that host (computer) cannot register U-Boot USB
device and is failing with errors:
usb 1-1: new full-speed USB device number 86 using xhci_hcd
usb 1-1: Device not responding to setup address.
usb 1-1: Device not responding to setup address.
usb 1-1: device not accepting address 86, error -71
U-Boot was writing address to faddr register too early and did not wait for
correct interrupt after which should update address.

If musb_peri_rx_ep() was called to process received HW buffer but U-Boot
cannot read it yet (e.g. because U-Boot SW buffer is full) then interrupt
was marked as processed also when HW buffer stayed unprocessed.
U-Boot tried to process this buffer again when it received interrupt again,
but it can receive it only when sender (host) sends a new data. As sender
(host) is not going to send a new data until U-Boot process current data
this issue caused a deadlock in case sender (host) is emitting data faster
than U-Boot can process it.
Reading musb intrrx register automatically clears this register and marks
interrupt as processed. So to prevent marking interrupt in U-Boot as
processed, adds a new variable pending_intrrx which would contain
unprocessed bits of intrrx register.
For a second step, every time when musb_peri_rx_ep() is called and there
are waiting data to be processed (signaled by MUSB_RXCSR_RXPKTRDY) either
acknowledge sender (via musb_peri_rx_ack()) that whole HW buffer was
processed or set corresponding bit in pending_intrrx that HW buffer was not
fully processed yet and next iteration is required after U-Boot allocates
space for reading HW buffer.
This patch fixes receiving large usb buffers, e.g. file transfer via Kermit
protocol implemented by 'loadb' U-Boot command over usbtty serial console.

If udc_endpoint_write() was called with bigger payload which does not fit
into one USB packet it is needed to transmit payload in more USB packets.
First packet is transmitted by udc_endpoint_write() call itself and other
packets are put into waiting queue.
Implement function musb_peri_tx() which checks if endpoints are ready for
transmit and continue transmission of waiting queue.
This patch fixes sending big output from printenv command over usbtty
serial console.

This patch fixes configuring FIFOs for one-directional endpoints which have
only one queue (either RX or TX, but noth both).
Size of FIFO buffer is 2^(idx+3) bytes and starting address is 2^(addr+3).
Moreover first 64 bytes are reserved for EP0.
Without this patch if FIFO size specified by caller was zero then idx was
incorrectly calculated (expr. ffs(0)-1) and size overflowed in fifosz
register. This register uses has only 4 bits for FIFO size. Moreover
specifying zero buffer size is not possible (with idx=0 is minimal buffer
size 8 bytes).
So even for one-directional endpoints we need to correctly specify both
(RX and TX) FIFO buffer sizes and its addresses.
This patch is fixing calculation of start address and buffer size to
minimal value and ensures that it would not overlap with buffer reserved
for EP0.
This issue caused loose of packets on USB bus in both directions and
basically usbtty was unusable.

Without this patch clearing was done only when U-Boot was compiled with
MUSB Host Controller. But clearing of data toggle bit is needed also for
MUSB Device Controller otherwise Device Controller does not work correctly.

Since commit 8745b9ebcc ("usb: gadget: add super speed support")
ums was no more functional on platform which use dwc2_udc_otg driver.
This was due to a too restrictive test which checked that the gadget
driver speed was either FS or HS.
So all gadget driver with max speed set to speed higher than
HS (SS in case of composite gadget driver in our case) are not
allowed, which is wrong.
Update the speed test in usb_gadget_register_driver() and in
dwc2_gadget_start() to allow all gadget driver speed equal or higher
than FS.
Tested on stm32mp157c-ev1 board.

So far we've been content with passing physical addresses when
configuring memory addresses into XHCI controllers, but not all
platforms have buses with transparent mappings. Specifically the
Raspberry Pi 4 might introduce an offset to memory accesses incoming
from its PCIe port.
Introduce xhci_virt_to_bus() and xhci_bus_to_virt() to cater with these
limitations, and make sure we don't break non DM users.

Testing with v2021.01 on MIPS Octeon has shown, that the latest patch
for the "short packet event trb handling" did introduce a bug on
platforms with virtual address != physical address. This patch fixes
this issue by using the correct address types in the compare (both
physical in this case).

Add support to disable specific ports, it's useful for some
scenarios:
1. usb3 PHY is shared whith PCIe or SATA, the corresponding
usb3 port can be disabled;
2. some usb2 or usb3 ports are not used on special platforms,
they should be disabled to save power.

Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In
a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding
another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header
files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few
cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so
remove that include.

If one of functions is not super speed capable, we need force the udc
to be high speed, this is an equivalent implementation of
usb_gadget_udc_set_speed() in kernel but simple, which set the gadget
max_speed to be high speed, so afterwards when start gadget duc can
set the HW to be USB 2.0 mode.

There is a custom (non-USB IF) extension to the USB standard:

They grant permission to use the specification - there is
"Microsoft OS Descriptor Specification License Agreement"
under the link mentioned above, and its Section 2 "Grant
of License", letter (b) reads:
"Patent license. Microsoft hereby grants to You a nonexclusive,
royalty-free, nontransferable, worldwide license under Microsoft鈥檚
patents embodied solely within the Specification and that are owned
or licensable by Microsoft to make, use, import, offer to sell,
sell and distribute directly or indirectly to Your Licensees Your
Implementation. You may sublicense this patent license to Your
Licensees under the same terms and conditions."
The said extension is maintained by Microsoft for Microsoft.
Yet it is fairly common for various devices to use it, and a
popular proprietary operating system expects devices to provide
"OS descriptors", so Linux-based USB gadgets whishing to be able
to talk to a variety of operating systems should be able to provide
the "OS descriptors".
This patch adds optional support for gadgets whishing to expose
the so called "OS Feature Descriptors", that is "Extended Compatibility ID"
and "Extended Properties".
Hosts which do request "OS descriptors" from gadgets do so during
the enumeration phase and before the configuration is set with
SET_CONFIGURATION. What is more, those hosts never ask for configurations
at indices other than 0. Therefore, gadgets whishing to provide
"OS descriptors" must designate one configuration to be used with
this kind of hosts - this is what os_desc_config is added for in
struct usb_composite_dev. There is an additional advantage to it:
if a gadget provides "OS descriptors" and designates one configuration
to be used with such non-USB-compliant hosts it can invoke
"usb_add_config" in any order because the designated configuration
will be reported to be at index 0 anyway.
This patch also adds handling vendor-specific requests addressed
at device or interface and related to handling "OS descriptors"."

popular proprietary operating system expects devices to provide
"OS descriptors", so Linux-based USB gadgets whishing to be able
to talk to a variety of operating systems should be able to provide
the "OS descriptors".
This patch adds optional support for gadgets whishing to expose
the so called "OS String" under index 0xEE of language 0.
The contents of the string is generated based on the qw_sign
array and b_vendor_code.
Interested gadgets need to set the cdev->use_os_string flag,
fill cdev->qw_sign with appropriate values and fill cdev->b_vendor_code
with a value of their choice.
This patch does not however implement responding to any vendor-specific
USB requests."

Since some new fields in usb_ep structure been moved to usb_ss_ep.
The CDNS3 gadget driver should replies on this operation to bind the
usb_ss_ep with the endpoint descriptor when function layer uses
usb_ep_autoconfig to add endpoint descriptors to gadget. So that
CDNS3 driver can know the EP information and configure the EP once
the set configuration request is received.

Each array is used only in one file (core.c or ep0.c). Move their content
to correct file, mark them as static and do not export out of current file.
This change allows to decrease size of u-boot.bin as more of those strings
are not used.

Casting 32bit int value directly into 64bit unsigned type causes
wrong value for file size equal or larger than 2GB. Fix the wrong

of-platdata this field is not used, so can be removed. In preparation for

We have two functions which do the same thing. Standardise on
dev_has_ofnode() since there is no such thing as an 'invalid' ofnode in
normal operation: it is either null or missing.

This makes it harder to change the meaning of that member. Change access
to go through a function instead.

For bulk IN transfer, the codes will set ISP flag to request event TRB
being generated by xHC for the case of short packet. So when encountering
buffer-cross-64K-boundary (which we will divide payload and enqueuqe
more than 1 transfer TRB), and the first TRB ends up with a short packet
condition it will trigger an short packet code transfer event per that
flag and cause more than 1 event TRB generated for this transfer.
However, current codes will only handle the first transfer event TRB
then mark current transfer completed, causing next transfer
failure due to event TRB mis-match.
Such issue has been observed on some Layerscape platforms (LS1028A,
LS1088A, etc) with USB ethernet device.
This patch adds a loop to make sure the event TRB for last transfer TRB
has been handled in time.

dwc3_meson_g12a_force_mode() sets the dr-mode of the USB PHY. However
it skips setting the mode if it matches the one done during driver probe
(stored in private structure). This fails if the mode has been changed
to other value and then back to initial one. Fix this by configuring the
dr-mode always, regadless of the one set at the driver probe).
This fixes operation of USB gadget based drivers when they are initialized
for the second time.

This construct is quite long-winded. In earlier days it made some sense
since auto-allocation was a strange concept. But with driver model now
used pretty universally, we can shorten this to 'auto'. This reduces
verbosity and makes it easier to read.
Coincidentally it also ensures that every declaration is on one line,
thus making dtoc's job easier.

If CONFIG_PHY is not enabled then the dwc3_setup_phy()
returns ENOTSUPP which can be still valid and intentional
so modify error check to handle this -ENOTSUPP.
The same error handling exists in drivers/usb/host/xhci-dwc3.c already
added by commit d648a50c0a ("dwc3: move phy operation to core.c").

On some board, the ID pin is not connected so the B session must be
overridden with "u-boot,force_b_session_valid" but the VBus sensing
must continue to be handle.
To managed it, this patch adds a new DT field

In buffer DMA mode, gadget should re-configure EP 0 to received SETUP
packets when doeptsiz.xfersize is equal to a setup packet size(8 bytes)
and EP 0 is in WAIT_FOR_SETUP state.
Since EP 0 is not enabled in WAIT_FOR_SETUP state, SETUP packets is NOT
received from RxFifo and wriiten to the external memory.

Octeon uses mapped addresses for virtual and physical memory. It's not
that easy to calculate the resulting addresses here. So let's remove
this BUG_ON() completely, as it's not really helpful.
Please also note, that BUG_ON() is not recommended any more in the Linux
kernel.

The cell_count argument is required when cells_name is NULL.
This patch adds this parameter in live tree API

This parameter solves issue when these API is used to count
the number of element of a cell without cell name. This parameter
allow to force the size cell.

The USB support was initialy done with a set of PHYs and dwc3-of-simple
because the architecture of the USB complex was not understood correctly
at the time (and proper documentation was missing...).
But with the G12A family, the USB complex was correctly understood and
implemented correctly.
This adds a proper driver for the glue, based on the G12A one, but with
enough changes to require a different driver in U-Boot.

There some vendor quirks for MTK xHCI 0.96 host controller:
1. It defines some extra SW scheduling parameters for HW
to minimize the scheduling effort for synchronous and
interrupt endpoints. The parameters are put into reserved
DWs of slot context and endpoint context.
2. Its TDS in Normal TRB defines a number of packets that
remains to be transferred for a TD after processing all
Max packets in all previous TRBs.

xhci versions 1.0 and later report the untransferred data remaining in a
TD a bit differently than older hosts.
We used to have separate functions for these, and needed to check host
version before calling the right function.
Now Mediatek host has an additional quirk on how it uses the TD Size
field for remaining data. To prevent yet another function for calculating
remainder we instead want to make one quirk friendly unified function.

Zynq/ZynqMP/Versal IPs should be possible to called also from Microblaze in
PL and vice versa. That's why change dependencies and do not limit enabling
just for some platforms.

Lot of Qualcomm SoC-s use DWC3 controller for both USB2.0 and USB3.0
ports.
Qualcomm has some custom config registers on top of the generic ones,
but for host mode these are not needed.
So lets add the neccessary compatible string.

It was revealed that when the fastboot_tx_write_str function is called
without the previously initialized fastboot_func->in_req->complete field,
a copy of in_req will be sent to the I/O requests queue without
an initialized field.
Moving a piece of code with the initializing of the
fastboot_func->in_req->complete field above transmit_tx allows to solve
this problem.

Since the USB HID limits the maximum bandwidth(3072) for interrupt
endpoint transfers, when the bInterval set to 1, we can only support 3
boards to run sdp at the same time. In order to support more boards,
change the bInterval of interrupt endpoint to 3, which will not affect
the transmission speed.

EP0 has been used to transfer file data in sdp before, but the max
packetsize of ep0 is 64 bytes. So in order to improve the file transfer
speed, here add the EP1_OUT interrupt endpoint which max packetsize is
set to 1024 byte.
After testing, it turns out that using ep1out is twice as fast as using
ep0 while receiving data in sdp.

Add support to f_sdp to search and load iMX8 container image or iMX8M
FIT image by new UUU command SDPV.
When using the SDPV, the uuu will continue to send out data after first
level boot loader used by ROM. This means uuu won't skip to the offset
of the second boot loader, and the padding data before second boot loader
will be sent out. So we have to search the FIT header or container header
in the buffer that SDP received.
Also change to more common method to exit f_sdp handler not depending on
SPL_FIT_FOUND flag because container loader won't set this.

65 bytes not 64 bytes. Otherwise there is potential buffer overflow.

Android 10 adds support for dynamic partitions and in order to support
this userspace fastboot must be used[1]. New tool fastbootd is
included into recovery.
Userspace fastboot works from recovery and is launched if:
1) - Dynamic partitioning is enabled
2) - Boot control block has 'boot-fastboot' value into command field
The bootloader is expected to load and boot into the recovery image
upon seeing boot-fastboot in the BCB command. Recovery then parses the
BCB message and switches to fastbootd mode[2].
Please note that boot script is expected to handle 'boot-fastboot'
command in BCB and load into recovery mode.
Bootloader must support 'reboot fastboot' command which should reboot
device into userspace fastboot to accomodate those changes[3].
Another command that bootloader must support[3] is 'reboot recovery'. This
command should simply reboot device into recovery mode.

When unregister gadget driver in ci_udc, the usb device is not
removed or stop. This causes next "usb start" fails to work.
Add a new interface "usb_remove_ehci_gadget" in usb-uclass to
remove the usb device for DM driver. Using "usb_lowlevel_stop" for
non-DM driver.

this causes problem while CDNS3 USB controller index is 1.

The original rtl_clear_bp() is used to clear the firmware of both
PLA and USB MCU. The new one could clear the firmware of PLA or
USB independently. It is unnecessary to clear firmware, if there
is no one to be updated.
Besides, clear the firmware by writing the relative registers in
bulk.

Reset bmu after disabling Tx/Rx. This is used to clear the FIFO of
Tx/Rx. The remained data may be transferred after Tx/Rx is re-enabled.
And it results in garbage data.

The indentation was messing up with the scripts/build-whitelist.sh that
was marking SYS_USB_EVENT_POLL_VIA_INT_QUEUE (and probably also the
other indented options) erroneously as ad-hoc configure option with the
following error:

When you enable CONFIG_OF_LIVE, you will end up with a lot of
conversions.
To help this tedious work, this commit converts devfdt_get_addr_ptr()
to dev_read_addr_ptr() by coccinelle. I also removed redundant casts
because dev_read_addr_ptr() returns an opaque pointer.
To generate this commit, I ran the following semantic patch

Add wait_event_timeout - sleep until a condition gets true or a
timeout elapses.
This is a stripped version of the same from Linux kernel with the
following u-boot specific modifications:
- no wait queues supported
- use u-boot timer to detect timeouts

Some platforms, like MIPS Octeon, use mapped addresses (virtual address
!= physical address). On these platforms we need to make sure, that the
local virtual addresses are converted to physical (DMA) addresses for
the xHCI controller. This patch adds the missing virt_to_phys() calls,
so that the correct addresses are used.

xhci_writeq() makes the CPU->LE swapping only when addressing registers
in the xHCI controller address range and not in the local memory (RAM).
We need to use cpu_to_le64() here to ensure that the conversion is done
correctly.

The Linux coding style guide (Documentation/process/coding-style.rst)
clearly says:
It's a **mistake** to use typedef for structures and pointers.
Besides, using typedef for structures is annoying when you try to make
headers self-contained.
Let's say you have the following function declaration in a header:
void foo(bd_t *bd);
This is not self-contained since bd_t is not defined.
To tell the compiler what 'bd_t' is, you need to include <asm/u-boot.h>
#include <asm/u-boot.h>
void foo(bd_t *bd);
Then, the include direcective pulls in more bloat needlessly.
If you use 'struct bd_info' instead, it is enough to put a forward
declaration as follows:

Some atypical users of xhci might need to manually reset their xHCI
controller before starting the HCD setup. Check if a reset controller

In current code there is no cache flush after initializing the scratchpad
buffer array with the scratchpad buffer pointers. This leads to a failure
of the "slot enable" command on the rpi4 board (Broadcom STB PCIe
controller + VL805 USB hub) - the very first TRB transfer on the command
ring fails and there is a timeout while waiting for the command completion
event. After adding the missing cache flush everything seems to be working
as expected.

Update the firmware to improve compatibility for none-intel USB
host controller. The more information is as following.
The device has auto-installed driver feature - via switch CD-ROM/NIC
mode. But in some corner cases, it would switch to CD-ROM unexpected.
This issue results in Lan Function Disabled.
While USB PHY transits to P3 from P0 due to the absent of transmitter
control, it would issues undefined signal to its link partner.
Some Down Stream Port misidentify the undefined signal as wakeup
signal. So the link state will not keep in suspend even the system
is idle.

It is possible to specify a device tree node for an USB device. This is
useful if you have a static USB setup and want to use aliases which
point to these nodes, like on the Raspberry Pi.
The nodes are matched against their hub port number, the compatible
strings are not matched for now.

RK3399 Type-C PHY is required that must hold whole USB3.0 OTG controller
in resetting to hold pipe power state in P2 before initializing the PHY.
This commit fixed it and added device compatible for rockchip platform.

The regulator-fixed would return -ENOSYS when enabled/disabled,
because this operation is not supported, but this is not an error
e.g. on systems where the VBUS cannot be controlled, so if this
is the error code reported by the regulator core, consider it a
success and continue.

By default when core sees any transaction error (CRC or overflow) it
replies with terminating retry ACK (Retry=1 and Nump == 0).
Enabling this Auto Retry feature in controller will make the core send
a non-terminanting ACK upon such transaction errors. That is, ACK TP
with Retry=1 and Nump != 0.
Doing so will give controller a chance to recover from transient error
conditions.

This patch adds a quirk to disable USB 2.0 MAC linestate check
during HS transmit. Refer the dwc3 databook, we can use it for
some special platforms if the linestate not reflect the expected
line state(J) during transmission.
When use this quirk, the controller implements a fixed 40-bit
TxEndDelay after the packet is given on UTMI and ignores the
linestate during the transmit of a token (during token-to-token
and token-to-data IPGAP).
On some rockchip platforms (e.g. rk3399), it requires to disable
the u2mac linestate check to decrease the SSPLIT token to SETUP
token inter-packet delay from 566ns to 466ns, and fix the issue
that FS/LS devices not recognized if inserted through USB 3.0 HUB.

Add a quirk to clear the GUSB2PHYCFG.U2_FREECLK_EXISTS bit,
which specifies whether the USB2.0 PHY provides a free-running
PHY clock, which is active when the clock control input is active.

The omap3.dtsi file shows the usbhshost node with two sub-nodes
for ohci and ehci. This patch file creates the usbhshost, and
pulls the portX-mode information. It then locates the EHCI
sub-node, and initializes the EHCI controller with the info
pulled from the usbhshost node.
There is still more to do since there isn't an actual link
between the 'phys' reference and the corresponding phy driver,
and there is no nop-xceiv driver yet.
In the meantime, the older style reference to
CONFIG_OMAP_EHCI_PHYx_RESET_GPIO is still needed to pull
the phy out of reset until the phy driver is completed and the
phandle reference is made.

We should not use typedefs in U-Boot. They cannot be used as forward
declarations which means that header files must include the full header to
access them.
Drop the typedef and rename the struct to remove the _s suffix which is
now not useful.
This requires quite a few header-file additions.

Move this header out of the common header. Network support is used in
quite a few places but it still does not warrant blanket inclusion.
Note that this net.h header itself has quite a lot in it. It could be
split into the driver-mode support, functions, structures, checksumming,
etc.

It is bad practice to include common.h in other header files since it can
bring in any number of superfluous definitions. It implies that some C
files don't include it and thus may be missing CONFIG options that are set
up by that file. The C files should include these themselves.
Update some header files in arch/arm to drop this.

Assert reset before deassert in dwc2_reset;
this patch solve issues when the DWC2 registers are already
initialized with value incompatible with host mode.
Force a hardware reset of the IP reset all the DWC2 registers at
default value, the host driver start with a clean state
(Core Soft reset doen in dwc_otg_core_reset is not enought
to reset all register).
The error can occurs in U-Boot when DWC2 device gadget driver
force device mode (called by ums or dfu command, before to execute
the usb start command).

Power on/off the PHYs to enable power to the USB ports, fixing USB support
on Khadas VIM3/VIM3L boards.
The G12A USB complex has at least 2 USB2 PHYs, but one is muxed between the
DWC2 and DWC3 controller and the other one directly connected to the DWC3
controller. The USB3+PCIe combo PHY is muxed between the DWC3 controller
and a DW-PCIE controller.
All PHYs are optional, but it's type (usb2/usb3) and position are important
to determine it's capabilities, thus they are stored in a fixed size
array and the phy-name determines it's position, it's position determining
it's type and functionnalities.
This is why we need to loop over the array to power on all the DT provided
PHYs.

Rather than keeping the asynchronous schedule running always, keep it
running only across USB mass storage transfers for now, as it seems
that keeping it running all the time interferes with certain control
transfers during device enumeration.
Note that running the async schedule all the time should not be an
issue, especially on EHCI HCD, as that one implements most of the
transfers using async schedule.
Note that we have usb_disable_asynch(), which however is utterly broken.
The usb_disable_asynch() blocks the USB core from doing async transfers
by setting a global flag. The async schedule should however be disabled
per USB controller. Moreover, setting a global flag does not prevent the
controller from using the async schedule, which e.g. the EHCI HCD does.
This patch implements additional callback to the controller, which
permits it to lock the async schedule and keep it running across
multiple transfers. Once the schedule is unlocked, it must also be
disabled. This thus prevents the async schedule from running outside
of the USB mass storage transfers.

Some config symbols are found in *almost* every _defconfig file for
Allwinner boards, because those options are actually a platform choice,
and not a per-board decision.
Some of these options are older, some have recently been added.
Move those options to be set for all Allwinner boards in their
respective Kconfig files.
The rationales are as follows:
- NR_DRAM_BANKS: All Allwinner SoC map DRAM at one contiguous region of
address space only, starting at 1 GB. So it's always one bank.
- SPL_{DOS,EFI}_PARTITION: The Allwinner SPL does only support raw MMC
accesses, we don't care about filesystems or partitions in there, so
there is no need to define those symbols at all.
- USE_PREBOOT: We start USB early when a keyboard is configured, using the
preboot env variable, so we need to set this variable.
- SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR: We don't specify any ENV_ADDR, so need this
symbol to be set (according to 8d8ee47e03).
- SYS_USB_EVENT_POLL_VIA_INT_QUEUE: According to commit eab9433aa5,
specifying this reduces the latency of the USB keyboard handling, so
this was formerly enabled in config headers for all Allwinner boards.

In case dfu command is being executed with timeout option,
the timer may expire in the middle of DFU operation. If there
is DFU request coming, we may simple reset timeout value
to prevent aborting of ongoing DFU operation.

The implementation of dma_map_single() and dma_unmap_single() is
exactly the same for all the architectures that support them.
Factor them out to <linux/dma-mapping.h>, and make all drivers to
include <linux/dma-mapping.h> instead of <asm/dma-mapping.h>.
If we need to differentiate them for some architectures, we can
move the generic definitions to <asm-generic/dma-mapping.h>.
Add some comments to the helpers. The concept is quite similar to
the DMA-API of Linux kernel. Drivers are agnostic about what is
going on behind the scene. Just call dma_map_single() before the
DMA, and dma_unmap_single() after it.

At present dm/device.h includes the linux-compatible features. This
requires including linux/compat.h which in turn includes a lot of headers.
One of these is malloc.h which we thus end up including in every file in
U-Boot. Apart from the inefficiency of this, it is problematic for sandbox
which needs to use the system malloc() in some files.
Move the compatibility features into a separate header file.

Broadcom 2835 SoC requires special conversion of physical memory addresses
for DMA purpose, so add needed wrappers to dwc2_udc_otg driver. Also extend
the list of compatible devices with 'brcm,bcm2835-usb' entry. This allows
to use USB gadget drivers (i.e. DFU) on Raspberry Pi4 boards.

DWC3 support phy interfaces like 8/16-bit UTMI+. phy interface
initialization code would handle them properly along with UNKNOWN
type by default if none of the user/board doesn't need to use the
phy interfaces at all.
The current code is masking the 8/16-bit UTMI+ interface bits globally
which indeed effect the UNKNOWN cases, therefore it effects the platforms
which are not using phy interfaces at all.
So, handle the phy masking bits accordingly on respective interface
type cases.

Move this function header to serial.h since this function is clearly
related to serial. The function itself stays in console.c since we don't
have a single serial file. DM and non-DM each has a separate file so we
would have to either create a new common serial file, or repeat the
function in both serial.c and serial-uclass.c, neither of which seem

U-Boot has two different variants of dwc3 initializations,
- with dm variant gadget, so the respective dm driver would
call the dwc3_init in core.
- with non-dm variant gadget, so the usage board file would
call dwc3_uboot_init in core.
The driver probe would handle all respective gadget properties
including phy interface via phy_type property and then trigger
dwc3_init for dm-variant gadgets.
So, to support the phy interface for non-dm variant gadgets,
the better option is dwc3_uboot_init since there is no
dedicated controller for non-dm variant gadgets.
This patch support for adding phy interface like 8/16-bit UTMI+
code for dwc3_uboot.
This change used Linux phy.h enum list, to make proper code
compatibility.

Gadget vendor number, 0x2207 is common across all platfroms
supported in Rockchip SoC.
So, select the same number globally, if ARCH_ROCKCHIP.
This eventually drop the explicit configs defined in supported
board defconfig files.

all rockchip platform SoC's.

Since upgrading to gcc9, warnings are issued:
"taking address of packed member of ‘...’ may result in an unaligned
pointer value"
Fix this by converting dwc2_fifo_read to use unaligned access since packed
structures may be on an unaligned address, depending on USB hardware.
