Use PREBOOT as well. This allows a customer to just set fdt_board as

First, we convert CONFIG_SYS_I2C_LEGACY to Kconfig. Next, as you cannot
have SYS_I2C_LEGACY and DM_I2C at the same time, introduce
CONFIG_SPL_SYS_I2C_LEGACY so that we can enable the legacy option only
in SPL. Finally, for some PowerPC cases we also need
CONFIG_TPL_SYS_I2C_LEGACY support. Convert all of the existing users to
one or more symbols.

We have a number of platforms that are a combination of a carrier board
and System-on-Module (SoM) that in turn allows for the board to have
different SoCs on it. In some cases, this is handled via board-specific
Kconfig options. In other cases we make use of
CONFIG_SYS_EXTRA_OPTIONS. This latter case however can lead to invalid
configurations as we will not in turn get options that in Kconfig are
selected by or depend on that setting.
To resolve this, make the SoC option a choice in Kconfig and make boards
depend on what they can support. This change opens us up for further
clean-ups in the cases where a single CONFIG_TARGET_xxx can support
different SoCs and today they do not, or do not cleanly do so.

As explained in the CONFIG_DM_MDIO text inside drivers/net/Kconfig:
"Useful in particular for systems that support
DM_ETH and have a stand-alone MDIO hardware block shared by multiple
Ethernet interfaces."
i.MX6 has a single FEC instance, so there is no need to select
CONFIG_DM_MDIO.
Remove it from the i.MX6 defconfig files.

This introduces automatic boot counter that increases after every
reset.After a power-on reset, it will be initialized with 1,
and each reboot will increment the value by 1. By default it's
disabled if bootlimit isn't set.
To enable this feature you have set bootcount limit ("bootlimit"),
alternate boot action ("altbootcmd") that will be performed if
the new value of bootcount exceeds the value of bootlimit, and
"upgrade_available" to let U-Boot automatically increase and save
the counter value after every reset:
> setenv bootlimit 5
> setenv upgrade_available 1
> setenv altbootcmd "bootm ..."
In case the bootlimit exceeds, the message will be shown and
albootcmd executed:
Warning: Bootlimit (5) exceeded. Using altbootcmd.
To reset bootcount run:

This partially reverts changes by commit 2cc393f32f
("video: make BPP and ANSI configs optional") since it
caused issues with other boards (missing LCD console
output on pinebook, x86 platform or sandbox). Enable
all disabled options again and opt out of not supported
color depth in board defconfigs.

Many boards do not use all selected framebuffer depth
configurations, for such boards there is some unused
code in video and console uclass routines. Make depth
specific code optional to avoid dead code and slightly
reduce binary size. Also make ANSI code optional for
the same reason. When i.e. using only VIDEO_BPP16 the
code size shrinks (below values when using gcc-7.3.0):

- In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of
CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so.
- On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define
to 0.
- Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR.
- Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it.
- Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and
SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT
- On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR
for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location.
- On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but
rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default.
- Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use
CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within
ENV_IS_IN_FLASH.
- Migrate all platforms.

Today in initr_reloc_global_data() we use some non-obvious tests to
determine if we need to relocate the env_addr within gd or not. In
order to facilitate migration of other symbols to Kconfig we need to
introduce a new symbol for this particular use case.
