dbcb2c0e2b powerpc: mpc83xx: Enable pre-relocation malloc
To enable DM on MPC83xx, we need pre-relocation malloc, which is
implemented in this patch.

e80311a5f0 powerpc: mpc83xx: Minimize r1 modification
The r1 register is modified several times during the cache-ram setup of
the MPC83xx SoCs.

Since this SP modification confuses debuggers, we use a general purpose
register to compute the new stack pointer value, and only set the SP
once after all computations are done.

e83a7e9453 powerpc/mpc83xx: Zero boot_flags arg for calling board_init_f()
The argument boot_flags of board_init_f() is not used at all in the
powerpc specific board.c init sequence. Now with the generic init
sequence, this boot_flags arg is used by board_init_f().

This patch sets the r3 register that is used to pass the boot_flags
argument from the start.S board_init_f() call to 0 prior to the function
call to avoid unknown content to end up in gd->flags.

Remove this board as this is the only one last user of eeprom_probe(),

This patch also removes all the PHP, SQL and CSS stuff from U-Boot,
which probably makes U-Boot a bit less IoT ;-)

3929fb0a14 Replace __bss_end__ with __bss_end
Note this is a tree-wide change affecting multiple architectures.

At present we use __bss_start, but mostly __bss_end__. This seems
inconsistent and in a number of places __bss_end is used instead.

Change to use __bss_end for the BSS end symbol throughout U-Boot. This
makes it possible to use the asm-generic/sections.h file on all
archs.

06f60ae3e4 powerpc/mpc83xx: add support for new SPL
This adds arch support for PPC mpc83xx to boot "minimal" (4K) SPLs
using the new infrastructure.

Existing nand_spl targets are updated to deal with the name change
from nand_init.c to spl_minimal.c (as in theory this isn't limited
to NAND anymore).

25ddd1fb0a Replace CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE by auto-generated value
CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE has always been just a bad workarond for not
being able to use "sizeof(struct global_data)" in assembler files.
Recent experience has shown that manual synchronization is not
reliable enough. This patch renames CONFIG_SYS_GBL_DATA_SIZE into
GENERATED_GBL_DATA_SIZE which gets automatically generated by the
asm-offsets tool. In the result, all definitions of this value can be
deleted from the board config files. We have to make sure that all
files that reference such data include the new <asm-offsets.h> file.

No other changes have been done yet, but it is obvious that similar
changes / simplifications can be done for other, related macro
definitions as well.

553f09823c Rename CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_END into CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZE
CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_END was a misnomer as it suggests this might be
some end address; to make the meaning more clear we rename it into
CONFIG_SYS_INIT_RAM_SIZE

No other code changes are performed in this patch, only minor editing
of white space (due to the changed length) and the comments was done,
where noticed.

Note that the code for the PATI and cmi_mpc5xx board configurations
looks seriously broken. Last known maintainers on Cc:

d1e0b10acc powerpc: do not fixup NULL ptrs
The fixup routine must not fixup NULL pointers.
Problem can be seen by
 char *testfun(void) __attribute__((weak));
 char *(*myfun)(void) = testfun;

Then add
  printf("myfun:%p, &myfun:%p\n", myfun, &myfun);
before relocation and after relocation.
myfun should be NULL in both cases but it is not.

d98b0523cf powerpc: Cleanup BOOTFLAG_* references
Now that warm booting is not supported, there isn't a need for the
BOOTFLAG_COLD and BOOTFLAG_WARM defines, so remove them.

Note that this change makes the board info bd_bootflags field useless.
It will always be set to 0, but we leave it around so that we don't
break the board info structure that some OSes are expecting to be passed
from U-Boot.

a4bfc4cc46 mpc83xx: fix NAND bootstrap too big error
commit 167cdad137 "SERIAL: Enable

converting NS16550_init to use io accessors, which expanded
the size of the generated code.

this patch fixes the problem by removing icache functions from
the nand builds, which somewhat follows commit

As discussed on the list, move "arch/ppc" to "arch/powerpc" to

is kept as an alias for now, to not break compatibility with
scripts using this name.
