Currently when creating an U_BOOT_DEVICE entry a struct driver_info
is declared, which contains the data needed to instantiate the device.
However, the actual device is created at runtime and there is no proper
way to get the device based on its struct driver_info.
This patch extends struct driver_info adding a pointer to udevice which
is populated during the bind process, allowing to generate a set of
functions to get the device based on its struct driver_info.

Use the new function dm_scan_fdt_ofnode_path() to scan all the nodes
which aren't devices themselves but may contain some:
- "/chosen"
- "/clocks"
- "/firmware"
The patch removes the strcmp call in recursive function dm_scan_fdt_live()
and also corrects a conflict with the 2 applied patches in
the commit 1712ca2192 ("dm: core: Scan /firmware node by default")
and in the commit 747558d014 ("dm: fdt: scan for devices under
/firmware too"): the subnodes of "/firmware" (optee for example)
are bound 2 times.
For example the dm tree command result on STM32MP1 is:

Some of the DM functions depend on OF_CONTROL, which is incorrect.
DM and DT are orthogonal. Add macro guards around such functions to
avoid compiling them in when DM is enabled, while OF_CONTROL is not.

Testing has shown that the current DM implementation of a platform /
board specific translation offset, as its needed for the SPL on MVEBU
platforms is buggy. The translation offset is confingured too late,
after the driver bind functions are run. This may result in incorrect
address translations. With the current implementation its not possible
to configure the offset earlier, as the DM code has not run at all.
This patch now removed the set_/get_translation_offset() calls and
moves the translation offset into the GD variable translation_offset.
This variable will get used when CONFIG_TRANSLATION_OFFSET is enabled.
This option is enabled only for MVEBU on ARM32 platforms, where its
currenty needed and configured in the SPL.

To reset the DM after a new dtb is loaded, we need to call dm_uninit()
and then dm_init(). This fails however because gd->dm_root is not nullified
by dm_uninit().
Fixing it by setting gd->dm_root in dm_uninit().

Commit f2006808f0: ("dm: core: parse chosen node") added a logic
to parse the chosen node during dm_scan_fdt_node(), but unfortunately
it missed adding the same logic in dm_scan_fdt_live(). This mirrors
the logic in the livetree version.
The weird thing is that commit f2006808f0 did update the test case
to test such logic, but even if I reset to that commit, the test case
still fails, and I have no idea how it could pass.
With this fix, the following 2 test cases now pass:

Currently the comments of several APIs (eg: dm_init_and_scan()) say:
@pre_reloc_only: If true, bind only drivers with the DM_FLAG_PRE_RELOC
flag. If false bind all drivers.
The 'Pre-Relocation Support' chapter in doc/driver-model/README.txt
documents the same that both device tree properties and driver flag
are supported.
However the implementation only checks these special device tree
properties without checking the driver flag at all. This updates
lists_bind_fdt() to consider both scenarios.

All Linux firmware drivers are put under "/firmware" node
and it has support to populate "/firmware" node by default.
u-boot and Linux can share same DTB. In this case, driver
probe for devices under "/firmware" will not be invoked
as "/firmware" does not have its own "compatible" property.
This patch scans "/firmware" node by default like "/clocks".

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.
In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.
This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

Thomas reported U-Boot failed to build host tools if libfdt-devel
package is installed because tools include libfdt headers from
/usr/include/ instead of using internal ones.
This commit moves the header code:
include/libfdt.h -> include/linux/libfdt.h
include/libfdt_env.h -> include/linux/libfdt_env.h
and replaces include directives:

As we discussed before in ML, dm_dbg() causes undefined reference
error if #define DEBUG is added to users, but not drivers/core/util.c
We do not need this macro because we can use pr_debug() instead, and
it is pretty easy to enable it for the DM core by using ccflags-y.

Currently, all fixed-clock declared in "clocks" node in device tree
can be binded by clk_fixed_rate.c driver only if each of them have
the "simple-bus" compatible string.
This constraint has been invoked here [1].
This patch offers a solution to avoid adding "simple-bus" compatible
string to nodes that are not busses.

With live tree we need a struct device_node * to reference a node. With
the existing flat tree, we need an int offset. We need to unify these into
a single value which can represent both.
Add an ofnode union for this and adjust existing code to move to this.

The new function dm_remove_devices_flags() is intented for driver specific
last-stage cleanup operations before the OS is started. This patch adds
this functionality and hooks it into the common device_remove()
function.
Drivers wanting to use this feature for some last-stage removal calls,
need to add one of the DM_REMOVE_xx flags to their driver .flags.

for "normal" device removal.
This is in preparation for the driver specific pre-OS (e.g. DMA

commit 2f11cd9121 ("dm: core: Handle global_data moving in SPL")
handles relocation of GD in SPL if spl_init() is called before
board_init_r(). So, uclass_root.next need not be initialized always
and accessing uclass_root.next->prev gives an abort. Update the
uclass_root only if it is available.

Right now the u-boot,dm-pre-reloc flag will make each marked node
always appear in both spl and tpl. But systems needing an additional
tpl might have special constraints for each, like the spl needing to
be very tiny.
So introduce two additional flags to mark nodes for only spl or tpl
environments and introduce a function dm_fdt_pre_reloc to automate
the necessary checks in code instances checking for pre-relocation
flags.
The behaviour of the original flag stays untouched and still marks
a node for both spl and tpl.

At present devices use a simple integer offset to record the device tree
node associated with the device. In preparation for supporting a live
device tree, which uses a node pointer instead, refactor existing code to
access this field through an inline function.

When CONFIG_SPL_STACK_R is enabled, and spl_init() is called before
board_init_r(), spl_relocate_stack_gd() will move global_data to a new
place in memory. This affects driver model since it uses a list for the
uclasses. Unless this is updated the list will become invalid. When
looking for a non-existent uclass, such as when adding a new one, the loop
in uclass_find() may continue forever, thus causing a hang.
Add a function to correct this rather obscure bug.

We currently use dm_scan_fdt_node() to bind devices. It is an internal
function and it requires the caller to know whether we are pre- or post-
relocation.
This requirement has become quite common in drivers, so the current function
is not ideal.
Add a new function with fewer arguments, that does not require internal
headers. This can be used directly as a post_bind() method if needed.

All devices should bind without error. But when they don't, they can cause
driver model init to fail. A real situation where this can happen is when
there is a missing uclass.
Add a debug() call to dm_scan_fdt_node to make this easier to track.

We have flipped CONFIG_SPL_DISABLE_OF_CONTROL. We have cleansing
devices, $(SPL_) and CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(), so we are ready to clear
away the ugly logic in include/fdtdec.h:

Targets with CONFIG_NEEDS_MANUAL_RELOC do not use REL/RELA
relocation (mostly only GOT) where functions aray are not
updated. This patch is fixing function pointers for DM core
and serial-uclass to ensure that relocated functions are called.

Some boards will have devices which are not in the device tree and do not
have platform data. They may be programnatically created, for example.
Add a hook which boards can use to bind those devices early in boot.

At present only root nodes in the device tree are scanned for devices.
But some devices can have children. For example a SPI bus may have
several children for each of its chip selects.
Add a function which scans subnodes and binds devices for each one. This
can be used for the root node scan also, so change it.
A device can call this function in its bind() or probe() methods to bind
its children.

Driver model currently only operates after relocation is complete. In this
state U-Boot typically has a small amount of memory available. In adding
support for driver model prior to relocation we must try to use as little
memory as possible.
In addition, on some machines the memory has not be inited and/or the CPU
is not running at full speed or the data cache is off. These can reduce
execution performance, so the less initialisation that is done before
relocation the better.
An immediately-obvious improvement is to only initialise drivers which are
actually going to be used before relocation. On many boards the only such
driver is a serial UART, so this provides a very large potential benefit.
Allow drivers to mark themselves as 'pre-reloc' which means that they will
be initialised prior to relocation. This can be done either with a driver
flag or with a 'dm,pre-reloc' device tree property.
To support this, the various dm scanning function now take a 'pre_reloc_only'
parameter which indicates that only drivers marked pre-reloc should be
bound.

The root device should be probed just like any other device. The effect of
this is to mark the device as activated, so that it can be removed (along
with its children) if required.
