There are two PCB designs in the wild which use the opposite
signaling for SD card detection. This makes U-Boot working
in one case and failing in the other. Quirk this out by
disconnecting SD card detection pin from the PCB by switching
it to mode 3. In the disconnected state the read value is always
the same and inverted to what we are expecting in the code.

If for some reason, TSC timer frequency cannot be determined from
hardware, nor is it specified in the device tree, U-Boot will panic
resulting in endless reset during boot.
Let's define a default TSC timer frequency using the Kconfig value
CONFIG_X86_TSC_TIMER_FREQ (note: #include must be used instead of
/include/ otherwise the macro is not pre-processed).

DM is the modern default approach for the drivers in U-Boot.
It also allows to configure code via Device Tree.

It is useful to be able to flash Edison directly without relying on the
installed U-Boot being functional.
Add a binman image for this. It includes a 'OSIP' header (which happens to
look like an MBR / (Master-Boot Record), U-Boot binary and an environment.
I am not able to find a specification for OSIP.

this would be not okay to mess up with the ordering.

Now that we have the pinctrl driver for Merrifield in place we can make
use of it and set I2C#6 pins appropriately.
Initial configuration came from the firmware. Which quite likely has
been used in the phones, where that is not part of Atom peripheral, is
in use. Thus we need to override the leftover.

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.
In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.
This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

In case we're building for Intel Edison, we must have 4096 bytes of
zeroes in the beginning on u-boot.bin. This is done in
board/intel/edison/config.mk.
First run sets hardware_id environment variable which is read from
System Controller Unit (SCU).
Serial number (serial# environment variable) is generated based on eMMC
CID.
MAC address on USB network interface is unique to the board but kept the
same all over the time.
Set mac address from U-Boot using following scheme:
OUI = 02:00:86
next 3 bytes of MAC address set from eMMC serial number
This allows to have a unique mac address across reboot and flashing.
