Finally, found the root cause of the issue already once mentioned back
here [2] which caused the following error message during boot:
imx_wdt watchdog@30280000:
pinctrl_select_state_full: uclass_get_device_by_phandle_id: err=-19
Turns out while the watchdog node itself was already u-boot,dm-spl its
pinctrl node was not which caused it to be unavailable at that early
stage. Note that any and all other boards I checked also seem to be
missing this. However, I can't judge whether or not they might indeed
need a similar fix or not.

Prepare for DEK blob encapsulation support through "dek_blob" command.
On ARMv8, u-boot runs in non-secure, thus cannot encapsulate a DEK blob
for encrypted boot.
The DEK blob is encapsulated by OP-TEE through a trusted application
call. U-boot sends and receives the DEK and the DEK blob binaries
through OP-TEE dynamic shared memory.
To enable the DEK blob encapsulation, add to the defconfig:
CONFIG_SECURE_BOOT=y
CONFIG_FAT_WRITE=y
CONFIG_CMD_DEKBLOB=y

The used PMIC has been changed from RHOM BD71837 to NXP PCA9450A.
Adjust the device tree accordingly.
Remove the old ADC node as the ADC has been changed and has no longer
a separate power rail.

Board files should not re-implement do_reset() to work around this
function not being defined in for specific configurations. Rather,
the fix is to compile in drivers which implement this properly.
This patch enables sysreset and watchdog drivers in SPL and ties
them together to implement the same as the do_reset() hack in the
board file, except correctly in the DM/DT framework.

This adds initial minimal support for the Toradex Verdin iMX8M Mini Quad
2GB WB IT V1.0A module. They are now strapped to boot from eFuses which
are factory fused to properly boot from their on-module eMMC. U-Boot
supports booting from the on-module eMMC only, SDP support is disabled
for now due to missing i.MX 8M Mini USB support.
Functionality wise the following is known to be working:
- eMMC, 8-bit and 4-bit MMC/SD card slots
- Ethernet
- GPIOs
- I2C
Boot sequence is:
SPL ---> ATF (TF-A) ---> U-boot proper
ATF, U-boot proper and u-boot.dtb images are packed into a FIT image,
loaded by SPL.
