In os_dirent_get_typename() we are checking that type falls within the
known values of the enum os_dirent_t. With clang-3.8 testing this value
as being >= 0 results in a warning as it will always be true. This
assumes of course that we are only given valid data. Given that we want
to sanity check the input, we change this to check that it falls within
the range of the first to the last entry in the given enum.

The intention with block devices is that the device number (devnum field
in its descriptor) matches the alias of its parent device. For example,
with:
aliases {
mmc0 = "/sdhci@700b0600";
mmc1 = "/sdhci@700b0400";
}
we expect that the block devices for mmc0 and mmc1 would have device
numbers of 0 and 1 respectively.
Unfortunately this does not currently always happen. If there is another
MMC device earlier in the driver model data structures its block device
will be created first. It will therefore get device number 0 and mmc0
will therefore miss out. In this case the MMC device will have sequence
number 0 but its block device will not.
To avoid this, allow a device to request a device number and bump any
existing device number that is using it. This all happens during the
binding phase so it is safe to change these numbers around. This allows
device numbers to match the aliases in all circumstances.
Add a test to verify the behaviour.

The following changes are made to the clock API:
* The concept of "clocks" and "peripheral clocks" are unified; each clock
provider now implements a single set of clocks. This provides a simpler
conceptual interface to clients, and better aligns with device tree
clock bindings.
* Clocks are now identified with a single "struct clk", rather than
requiring clients to store the clock provider device and clock identity
values separately. For simple clock consumers, this isolates clients
from internal details of the clock API.
* clk.h is split so it only contains the client/consumer API, whereas
clk-uclass.h contains the provider API. This aligns with the recently
added reset and mailbox APIs.
* clk_ops .of_xlate(), .request(), and .free() are added so providers
can customize these operations if needed. This also aligns with the
recently added reset and mailbox APIs.
* clk_disable() is added.
* All users of the current clock APIs are updated.
* Sandbox clock tests are updated to exercise clock lookup via DT, and
clock enable/disable.
* rkclk_get_clk() is removed and replaced with standard APIs.

As mentioned in the previous commit, adding default values in each
Kconfig causes problems because it does not co-exist with the
"depends on" syntax. (Please note this is not a bug of Kconfig.)
We should not do so unless we have a special reason. Actually,
for CONFIG_DM*, we have no good reason to do so.
Generally, CONFIG_DM is not a user-configurable option. Once we
convert a driver into Driver Model, the board only works with Driver
Model, i.e. CONFIG_DM must be always enabled for that board.
So, using "select DM" is more suitable rather than allowing users to
modify it. Another good thing is, Kconfig warns unmet dependencies
for "select" syntax, so we easily notice bugs.
Actually, CONFIG_DM and other related options have been added
without consistency: some into arch/*/Kconfig, some into
board/*/Kconfig, and some into configs/*_defconfig.
This commit prefers "select" and cleans up the following issues.
[1] Never use "CONFIG_DM=n" in defconfig files
It is really rare to add "CONFIG_FOO=n" to disable CONFIG options.
It is more common to use "# CONFIG_FOO is not set". But here, we
do not even have to do it.
Less than half of OMAP3 boards have been converted to Driver Model.
Adding the default values to arch/arm/cpu/armv7/omap3/Kconfig is
weird. Instead, add "select DM" only to appropriate boards, which
eventually eliminates "CONFIG_DM=n", etc.
[2] Delete redundant CONFIGs
Sandbox sets CONFIG_DM in arch/sandbox/Kconfig and defines it again
in configs/sandbox_defconfig.
Likewise, OMAP3 sets CONFIG_DM arch/arm/cpu/armv7/omap3/Kconfig and
defines it also in omap3_beagle_defconfig and devkit8000_defconfig.

This commit changes the working directory
where the build process occurs.
Before this commit, build process occurred under the source
tree for both in-tree and out-of-tree build.
That's why we needed to add $(obj) prefix to all generated
files in makefiles like follows:
$(obj)u-boot.bin: $(obj)u-boot
Here, $(obj) is empty for in-tree build, whereas it points
to the output directory for out-of-tree build.
And our old build system changes the current working directory
with "make -C <sub-dir>" syntax when descending into the
sub-directories.
On the other hand, Kbuild uses a different idea
to handle out-of-tree build and directory descending.
The build process of Kbuild always occurs under the output tree.
When "O=dir/to/store/output/files" is given, the build system
changes the current working directory to that directory and
restarts the make.
Kbuild uses "make -f $(srctree)/scripts/Makefile.build obj=<sub-dir>"
syntax for descending into sub-directories.
(We can write it like "make $(obj)=<sub-dir>" with a shorthand.)
This means the current working directory is always the top
of the output directory.

With sandbox, errors and problems may be reported before console_init_f()
is executed. For example, an argument may not parse correctly or U-Boot may
panic(). At present this output is swallowed so there is no indication what
is going wrong.
Adjust the console to deal with a very early sandbox setup, by detecting that
there is no global_data yet, and calling os functions in that case.

When sandbox does a 'bootm' to run a kernel we cannot actually execute it.
So just exit sandbox, which is essentially what U-Boot does on other archs.
Also, allow sandbox to use bootm on any kernel, so that it can be used
to test booting of kernels from any architecture.

The execution flow becomes easier if we can return from board_init_f()
as ARM does. We can control things from start.c instead of having to
call back into that file from other places.

Very often a constant pointer is passed to this function, so we should
declare this, since map_to_sysmem() does not change the pointer.

Sandbox uses an emulated memory map which is quite small. We don't need the
CONFIG_PHYS_64BIT option since we can address memory with a 32-bit offset
into our ram_buf.
Adjust the phys_addr_t and phys_size_t types accordingly.

This file must be compiled with system headers, even if U-Boot has headers
of the same name. The existing solution for this is good enough for libfdt,
but fails when we have headers like stdint.h in U-Boot.
Use -idirafter instead of -I, and remove the -nostdinc and other things
that we don't want for this file. The best way to do this is to keep a
copy of the original flags, rather than trying to filter them later.

Support tracing on sandbox by adding suitable CONFIG options. To enable it,
compile U-Boot with FTRACE=1.
The timer functions are marked to skip tracing, since these are called from
the tracing code itself, and we want to avoid an infinite loop.

This allows passing of entire scripts to sandbox with the -c argument,
which is useful for testing. Commands can be delimited with a newline

With sandbox it is tricky to add an FDT to the image at build time (or
later) since we build an ELF file, not a plain binary, and the address
space of the whole U-Boot is not accessible in the emulated memory map
of sandbox.
Sandbox can read files directly from the host, though, so add an option
to read an FDT from a host file on start-up.

In many cases, pointers to memory are passed around, and these pointers
refer to U-Boot memory, not host memory. This in itself is not a
problem.
However, in a few places, we cast that pointer back to a ulong (being
a U-Boot memory address). It is possible to convert many of these cases
to avoid this. However there are data structures (e.g. struct
bootm_headers) which use pointers. We could with a lot of effort adjust
the structs and all code that uses them to use ulong instead of pointers.
This seems like an unacceptable cost, since our objective with sandbox
is to minimise the impact on U-Boot code while maximising the features
available to sandbox.
Therefore, create a map_to_sysmem() function which converts from a
pointer to a U-Boot address. This can be used sparingly when needed.
