Shrink unicode case-mapping LUTs by 24k

I was looking into the binary bloat of a small program using `str::to_lowercase` and `str::to_uppercase`, and noticed that the lookup tables used for case mapping had a lot of zero-bytes in them. The reason for this is that since some characters map to up to three other characters when lower or uppercased, the LUTs store a `[char; 3]` for each character. However, the vast majority of cases only map to a single new character, in other words most of the entries are e.g. `(lowerc, [upperc, '\0', '\0'])`.
This PR introduces a new encoding scheme for these tables.

The changes reduces the size of my test binary by about 24K.

I've also done some `#[bench]`marks on unicode-heavy test data, and found that the performance of both `str::to_lowercase` and `str::to_uppercase` improves by up to 20%. These measurements are obviously very dependent on the character distribution of the data.

Someone else will have to decide whether this more complex scheme is worth it or not, I was just goofing around a bit and here's what came out of it 🤷‍♂️ No hard feelings if this isn't wanted!

We already set `AR_x86_64_unknown_illumos` in the dockerfile. So it is reasonable to set the `RANLIB_x86_64_unknown_illumos`.

Limit the number of parallel link jobs during LLVM build for mingw.

This PR is an attempt to unblock https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/108355, which keeps failing while trying to link various LLVM artifacts on mingw runners. It looks like doing too many linking jobs might put too much load on the system? (Although I don't understand why the jobs are only failing for #108355 while they seem to pass for others)

be7fae2f63 Auto merge of #108659 - ferrocene:pa-test-metrics, r=Mark-Simulacrum
Include executed tests in the build metrics (and use a custom test display impl)

The main goal of this PR is to include all tests executed in CI inside the build metrics JSON files. I need this for Ferrocene, and `@Mark-Simulacrum` expressed desire to have this as well to ensure all tests are executed at least once somewhere in CI.

Unfortunately implementing this required rewriting inside of bootstrap all of the code to render the test output to console. libtest supports outputting JSON instead of raw text, which we can indeed use to populate the build metrics. Doing that suppresses the console output though, and compared to rustc and Cargo the console output is not included as a JSON field.

Because of that, this PR had to reimplement both the "pretty" format (one test per line, with `rust.verbose-tests = true`), and the "terse" format (the wall of dots, with `rust.verbose-tests = false`). The current implementation should have the exact same output as libtest, except for the benchmark output. libtest's benchmark output is broken in the "terse" format, so since that's our default I slightly improved how it's rendered.

Also, to bring parity with libtest I had to introduce support for coloring output from bootstrap, using the same dependencies `annotate-snippets` uses. It's now possible to use `builder.color_for_stdout(Color::Red, "text")` and `builder.color_for_stderr(Color::Green, "text")` across all of bootstrap, automatically respecting the `--color` flag and whether the stream is a terminal or not.

I recommend reviewing the PR commit-by-commit.

9e43fa4752 Auto merge of #106967 - saethlin:remove-vec-as-ptr-assume, r=thomcc
Remove the assume(!is_null) from Vec::as_ptr

At a guess, this code is leftover from LLVM was worse at keeping track of the niche information here. In any case, we don't need this anymore: Removing this `assume` doesn't get rid of the `nonnull` attribute on the return type.

454b15d31d Auto merge of #108717 - TDecki:dec2flt-inline, r=thomcc
Add inlining annotations in `dec2flt`.

Currently, the combination of `dec2flt` being generic and the `FromStr` implementaions
containing inline anttributes causes massive amounts of assembly to be generated whenever
these implementation are used. In addition, the assembly has calls to function which ought to
be inlined, but they are not (even when using lto).

This Pr fixes this.

feat: show only missing variant suggestion for enums in patterns completion and bump them in list too

Fixes #12438

### Points to help in review:

- This PR can be reviewed commit wise, first commit is about bumping enum variant completions up in the list of completions and second commit is about only showing enum variants which are not complete
- I am calculating missing variants in analysis.rs by firstly locating the enum and then comparing each of it's variant's name and checking if arm string already contains that name, this is kinda hacky but I didn't want to implement complete missing_arms assist here as that would have been too bulky to run on each completion cycle ( if we can improve this somehow would appreciate some inputs on it )

a4e39bd33a Auto merge of #108282 - cjgillot:mir-checked-sh, r=tmiasko
Implement checked Shl/Shr at MIR building.

This does not require any special handling by codegen backends,
as the overflow behaviour is entirely determined by the rhs (shift amount).

This allows MIR ConstProp to remove the overflow check for constant shifts.

~There is an existing different behaviour between cg_llvm and cg_clif (cc `@bjorn3).`
I took cg_llvm's one as reference: overflow if `rhs < 0 || rhs > number_of_bits_in_lhs_ty`.~

EDIT: `cg_llvm` and `cg_clif` implement the overflow check differently. This PR uses `cg_llvm`'s implementation based on a `BitAnd` instead of `cg_clif`'s one based on an unsigned comparison.

Should close https://github.com/rust-lang/rust-analyzer/issues/13372, retrying the way its currently implemented is not ideal as we do not adjust offsets in the requests, but doing that is a major PITA, so this should at least work around one of the more annoying issues stemming from it.

cac8464f0e Auto merge of #109035 - scottmcm:ptr-read-should-know-undef, r=WaffleLapkin,JakobDegen
Ensure `ptr::read` gets all the same LLVM `load` metadata that dereferencing does

I was looking into `array::IntoIter` optimization, and noticed that it wasn't annotating the loads with `noundef` for simple things like `array::IntoIter<i32, N>`. Trying to narrow it down, it seems that was because `MaybeUninit::assume_init_read` isn't marking the load as initialized (<https://rust.godbolt.org/z/Mxd8TPTnv>), which is unfortunate since that's basically its reason to exist.

The root cause is that `ptr::read` is currently implemented via the *untyped* `copy_nonoverlapping`, and thus the `load` doesn't get any type-aware metadata: no `noundef`, no `!range`. This PR solves that by lowering `ptr::read(p)` to `copy *p` in MIR, for which the backends already do the right thing.

Fortuitiously, this also improves the IR we give to LLVM for things like `mem::replace`, and fixes a couple of long-standing bugs where `ptr::read` on `Copy` types was worse than `*`ing them.

When we inline method calls, we replace the `self` parameter with a local variable `this`. We have been replacing the `self` **tokens** with `NameRef` **nodes**, which makes the AST malformed.
