1221ce459d treewide: replace #include <asm/errno.h> with <linux/errno.h>
Now, arch/${ARCH}/include/asm/errno.h and include/linux/errno.h have
the same content. (both just wrap <asm-generic/errno.h>)

Replace all include directives for <asm/errno.h> with <linux/errno.h>.

86222f6140 gpio: omap: remove gpio_xlate routine
With the addition of GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW parsing in gpio-uclass,
the omap gpio driver doesn't need a custom xlate routine.

1ed0f85faf drivers: gpio: omap: add support for parsing additional gpio parameters
With DM_GPIO, gpio parameters like ACTIVE_(LOW/HIGH) are to be
parsed in xlate gpio drivers-ops. Since xlate is not implemented
in omap_gpio driver, the driver considers all gpio to be
ACTIVE_HIGH which is the default case and fails to return actual
gpio status for ACTIVE_LOW gpios. So adding .xlate ops to
omap_gpio.

0a9e34056f gpio: omap: Drop 'method' parameter
The "method" parameter was part of the original port of the driver from
the kernel. At some point this may have been added to allow for future
differentiation (as omap1 and omap2 have different GPIO IP blocks, so
this wasn't an unreasonable thing to do). At this point however it's
just extra overhead, so drop.

e564f054af dm: core: Add dev_get_uclass_priv() to access uclass private data
Add a convenience function to access the private data that a uclass stores
for each of its devices. Convert over most existing uses for consistency
and to provide an example for others.

Now that the uclass supports gpio_request/free() there is no need for the
driver to implement it too. Drop this unnecessary code.

5915a2ad0d dm: omap: gpio: Support driver model
Add driver model support to this driver, while retaining support for the
legacy system. Driver model GPIO support is enabled with CONFIG_DM_GPIO
as usual.

Since gpio_is_valid() no longer exists, we can use the -EINVAL error
returned from gpio_request().

d57b61143d dm: omap: gpio: Put _get_gpio_value() logic into its own function
Add a separate internal helper function to get a GPIO value, so that we
will be able to call it with the driver model version and avoid code
duplication.

Also move gpio_get_bank() and check_gpio() down below the helper functions
as these won't be needed with driver model.

bcd4d4eb2b SPDX-License-Identifier: fixing some problematic GPL-2.0 files
Unlike the other patches in this series so far, this commit fixes a
ambiguity in the license terms for some OMAP files: the code was
originally derived from the Linux kernel sources, where it was clearly
marked as GPL-2.0 (i. e. without the "or later" part), but the U-Boot
version had a GPL-2.0+ file header added, apparently without
permission / relicensing from the original authors of the code.

Insert a GPL-2.0 SPDX-License-Identifier to fix this.

87bd05d78f ARM: OMAP: GPIO: Fix valid range and enable usage of all GPIOs on OMAP5
The omap_gpio driver is used by AM33XX, OMAP3/4, OMAP54XX and DRA7XX SoCs.
These SoCs have different gpio count but currently omap_gpio driver uses hard
coded 192 which is wrong.

This patch fixes this issue by:
1. Move define of OMAP_MAX_GPIO to all arch/arm/include/asm/arch-omap*/gpio.h.
2. Update gpio bank settings and enable GPIO modules 7 & 8 clocks for OMAP5.

Thanks for Lubomir Popov to provide valuable comments to fix this issue.
