Update the naming convention used in the network stack functions and
variables that Ethernet drivers use to interact with it.
This cleans up the temporary hacks that were added to this interface
along with the DM support.
This patch has a few remaining checkpatch.pl failures that would be out
of the scope of this patch to fix (drivers that are in gross violation
of checkpatch.pl).

Currently only the start() function errors will be returned from
NetLoop(). recv() tends not to have errors, so that is likely not worth
adding. send() certainly can return errors, but this patch does not
attempt to plumb them yet. halt() is not expected to error.

Stop forcing drivers to call net_process_received_packet() - formerly
called NetReceive(). Now the uclass will handle calling the driver for
each packet until the driver errors or has nothing to return. The uclass
will then pass the good packets off to the network stack by calling
net_process_received_packet().

Previously the net functions would access memory assuming physmem did
not need to be mapped. In sandbox, that's not the case.
Now we map the physmem specified by the user in loadaddr to the buffer
that represents that space.

netretry previously would only retry in one specific case (your MAC
address is not set) and no other. This is basically useless. In the DM
implementation for eth it turns this into a completely useless case
since an un-configured MAC address results in not even entering the
NetLoop. The behavior is now changed to retry any failed command
(rotating through the eth adapters if ethrotate != no).
It also defaulted to retry forever. It is now changed to default to not
retry

This value is not used by the network stack and is available in the
global data, so stop passing it around. For the one legacy function
that still expects it (init op on old Ethernet drivers) pass in the
global pointer version directly to avoid changing that interface.

Currenly when CONFIG_BOOTP_SERVERIP is defined, the SERVERIP is not changed
when receive the BOOTP packet. But BOOTFILE is changed via BOOTP packet.
As we will load the BOOTFILE from SERVERIP, if the BOOTFILE is modified
by bootp packet but SERVERIP is not, that is not make sense.
This patch make SERVERIP and BOOTFILE be consistent. If we define the
CONFIG_BOOTP_SERVERIP, then SERVERIP and BOOTFILE will not changed by
BOOTP packet. Only IP address is changed.

A number of network related files were imported from the LiMon
project; these contain a somewhat unclear license statement:

I analyzed the source code of LiMon v1.4.2 which was used for this
import. It does not contain any "License" file, but the top level
directory contains a file "COPYING", which turns out to be GPL v2
of June 1991. So it is legitimate to conclude that the LiMon derived
files are also to be released under GPLv2. Mark them as such.

When a DNS query is sent out, the ethernet packet can get directed to
the MAC address of a server that was communicated to before. This is
wrong when the previously stored MAC address corresponds to a different
server's IP address, i.e. when the IP address of the previous and the
current communication are different.
The error can get reproduced by running a sequence of e.g. a TFTP
download and a DNS query, where the TFTP and DNS servers reside on
individual machines.
The fix is to clear the server's MAC address that might be left from a
previous operation, and to fetch the peer's MAC address in a new ARP
lookup, before the DNS query is sent. This is the approach taken in
other network services, like 8e52533d10 ("net: tftpsrv: Get correct
client MAC address").

It's not unusual for DHCP servers to take a couple hundred milliseconds
to respond to DHCP discover messages. One possible reason for the delay
can be that the server checks (typically using an ARP request) that the
IP it's about to hand out isn't in use yet. To make matters worse, some
servers may also queue up requests and process them sequentially, which
can cause excessively long delays if clients retry too fast.
Commit f59be6e850 ("net: BOOTP retry timeout improvements") shortened
the retry timeouts significantly, but the BOOTP/DHCP implementation in
U-Boot doesn't handle that well because it will ignore incoming replies
to earlier requests. In one particular setup this increases the time it
takes to obtain a DHCP lease from 630 ms to 8313 ms.
This commit attempts to fix this in two ways. First it increases the
initial retry timeout from 10 ms to 250 ms to give DHCP servers some
more time to respond. At the same time a cache of outstanding DHCP
request IDs is kept so that the implementation will know to continue
transactions even after a retransmission of the DISCOVER message. The
maximum retry timeout is also increased from 1 second to 2 seconds. An
ID cache of size 4 will keep DHCP requests around for 8 seconds (once
the maximum retry timeout has been reached) before dropping them. This
should give servers plenty of time to respond. If it ever turns out
that this isn't enough, the size of the cache can easily be increased.
With this commit the DHCP lease on the above-mentioned setup still takes
longer (1230 ms) than originally, but that's an acceptable compromise to
improve DHCP lease acquisition time for a broader range of setups.
To make it easier to benchmark DHCP in the future, this commit also adds
the time it took to obtain a lease to the final "DHCP client bound to
address x.x.x.x" message.

Currently, the BOOTP code sends out its initial request as soon as the
Ethernet driver indicates "link up". If this packet is lost or not
replied to for some reason, the code waits for a 1s timeout before
retrying. For some reason, such early packets are often lost on my
system, so this causes an annoying delay.
To optimize this, modify the BOOTP code to have very short timeouts for
the first packet transmitted, but gradually increase the timeout each
time a timeout occurs. This way, if the first packet is lost, the second
packet is transmitted quite quickly and hence the overall delay is low.
However, if there's still no response, we don't keep spewing out packets
at an insane speed.
It's arguably more correct to try and find out why the first packet is
lost. However, it seems to disappear inside my Ethenet chip; the TX chip
indicates no error during TX (not that it has much in the way of
reporting...), yet wireshark on the RX side doesn't see any packet.
FWIW, I'm using an ASIX USB Ethernet adapter. Perhaps "link up" is
reported too early or based on the wrong condition in HW, and we should
add some fixed extra delay into the driver. However, this would slow down
every link up event even if it ends up not being needed in some cases.
Having BOOTP retry quickly applies the fix/WAR to every possible
Ethernet device, and is quite simple to implement, so seems a better
solution.

So, we should use the same function name as that of Linux Kernel,
eth_rand_addr(), for consistency.
Besides, eth_rand_addr() has been implemented as an inline function.
So it should not be surrounded by #ifdef CONFIG_RANDOM_MACADDR.

CFLAGS_$(basetarget).o, CFLAGS_REMOVE_$(basetarget).o
are prepared for that purpose.

In "common/Makefile" "miiphyutil.o" gets built if any of the following
items enabled:
* CONFIG_PHYLIB

So it's possible to not define CONFIG_MII or CONFIG_CMD_MII and still
use functions like "miiphy_get_dev_by_name".
In its turn "miiphy_get_dev_by_name" traverses "mii_devs" list which is
not initialized because "miiphy_init" never got called.

NetServerEther was not being cleared in the tftp server code, so the
destination MAC address would be whatever the last destination MAC
address was.

By clearing NetServerEther, we force a lookup of the host MAC address

This patch tackles the time out problem which leads to break the
boot process, when loading file over nfs. The patch does two things.
First of all, we just ignore messages that arrive with a rpc_id smaller
then the client id. We just interpret this messages as answers to
formaly timed out messages.
Second, when a time out occurs we double the time to wait, so that we
do not stress the server resending the last message.

If we try to boot from NET device, NetInitLoop in net.c will be invoked.
If NET device is not installed, eth_get_dev() function will return
eth_current value, which is NULL.
When NetInitLoop is called, "eth_get_dev->enetaddr" will access
restricted memory area and therefore cause hanging.
This issue is found on Tegra30 Cardhu platform after adding
CONFIG_CMD_NET and CONFIG_CMD_DHCP in config header file.

This patch adds support for networking in SPL. Some devices are
capable of loading SPL via network so it makes sense to load the
main U-Boot binary via network too. This patch tries to use
existing network code as much as possible. Unfortunately, it depends
on environment which in turn depends on other code so SPL size
is increased significantly. No effort was done to decouple network
code and environment so far.

Some DHCP servers (notably dnsmasq) always transmit DHCP Option 28,
Broadcast Address as specified in RFC 2132. Without this patch u-boot
displays the warning:
*** Unhandled DHCP Option in OFFER/ACK: 28
The patch suppresses the warning and ignores DHCP Option 28. There is
no environment variable to set the broadcast address into and if for
some reason u-boot needs the broadcast it can be calculated from
ipaddr and netmask.

Previously u-boot would initialize the network interface for every
network operation and then shut it down again. This makes sense for
most operations where the network in not known to be needed soon after
the operation is complete. In the case of netconsole, it will use the
network for every interaction with the shell or every printf. This
means that the network is being reinitialized very often. On many
devices, this intialization is very slow.
This patch checks for consecutive netconsole actions and leaves the
ethernet hardware initialized between them. It will still behave the
same old way for all other network operations and any time another
network operation happens between netconsole operations.

If the requested length is too small to hold the received packet,
eth_receive() will return -1 and will leave the packet in the receive
buffers. Instead of returning an error in this case, we return the first
portion of the received packet and remove it from the receive buffers.
This fixes FreeBSD's ubldr. Without this patch it will just stop receiving
packets if the NIC receives more than PKTBUFSRX too large packets.

NetConsole may call NetSendUDPPacket before NetLoop is called. This
will cause the source MAC address (NetOurEther) to be wrong. Instead
of only changing it in NetLoop, move it to NetLoopInit so that it is
also updated when net_init() is called (especially by nc_start()).

NFS_TIMEOUT is constant value defined in net/nfs.c. But sometimes it needs to adjust.
This patch enables to override NFS_TIMEOUT by defining CONFIG_NFS_TIMEOUT in a board specific config file.

If the net driver has setup a valid ethernet address and an ethernet
address is not set in the environment already, then set the environment
variables from the net driver setting.
This enables pxe booting on boards which don't set ethaddr env variable.

The block argument for store_block can be -1 when the tftp sequence
number rolls over (i.e TftpBlock == 0), so the first argument to
store_block has to be of type 'int' instead of 'unsigned'.
In our environment (gcc 4.4.5 mips toolchain), this causes incorrect
'offset' to be generated for storing the block, and the tftp block
with number 0 will be written elsewhere, resulting in a bad block in
the downloaded file and a memory corruption.

Cisco's arp-proxy feature fails to ignore the link-local address range
This means that a link-local device on a network with this Cisco
equipment will reply to ARP requests for our device (in addition to
our reply).
If we happen to reply first, the requester's ARP table will be
populated with our MAC address, and one packet will be sent to us...
shortly following this, the requester will get an ARP reply from the
Cisco equipment telling the requester to send packets their way
instead of to our device from now on.
This work-around detects this link-local condition and will delay
replying to the ARP request for 5ms so that the first packet is sent
to the Cisco equipment and all following packets are sent to our
device.

Ignore the return value of eth_getenv_enetaddr_by_index(), and if it
fails, fall back to use dev->enetaddr, which could be filled up by
the ethernet device driver:
With the current code, introduced with below commit, eth_write_hwaddr()
will fail immediately if there is no eth<n>addr in the environment variables.
However, e.g. for an overo based product that uses the SMSC911x ethernet
chip (with the MAC address set via EEPROM connected to the SMSC911x chip),
the MAC address is still OK.
On mx28 boards that are depending on the OCOTP bits to set the MAC address
(like the Denx m28 board), the OCOTP bits should be used instead of
failing on the environment variables.
Actually, this was the original behavior, and was later changed by
commit 7616e78508.

A few subsystems are using the same define "NAMESIZE". This has been
working so far because they define it to the same number. However, I
want to change the size of eth_device's NAMESIZE, so rather than tweak
the define names, simply drop references to it. Almost no one does,
and the handful that do can easily be changed to a sizeof().

Instead of counting the device index everytime a functions needs it, store
it in the eth_device struct. eth_register() keeps track of the indices and
updates the device's index number. This simplifies some functions in
net/eth.c.
Additionally, a network driver can now query its index, eg. to get the
correct environment ethaddr name.

When building u-boot as 64 bit application (e.g. sandbox) ulong might be
64 bits in size. This breaks network code as IPaddr_t is 64 bytes in
size then and an IPv4 address is 32 bits in size. This patch makes sure
that IPaddr_t is always 32 bits in size. Also some warnings introduced
by this patch are fixed.

ICMP packets can tell you when there is no server at the other end. It
is useful for tftp to figure this out, so that a quick error can be
displayed, rather than pointlessly retrying.
This adds an ICMP packet handler to the net interface.

net/dns.c used endian conversion macros wrongly (shorts in reply
were put swapped into CPU, and then ntohs() was used to swap it
back, which broke on big-endian).
Fix this by using the correct linux conversion macro for reading
a unaligned short in network byte order: get_unaligned_be16()
Thanks to Mike Frysinger pointing at the best macro to use.
Tested on big and little endian qemu boards (mips and versatile)

These options are required to be present in RFC 4578 compliant DHCP
requests. They give more information to DHCP servers to allow serving
different DHCP responses to different systems based on client
architecture, client capabilities, UUID, or vendor.

This is long over due. All but two net drivers have been converted, but
those have now been dropped.
The only thing left to do is actually delete all references to NET_MULTI
and code that is compiled when that is not defined. So here we scrub the
core code.

Commit 093498669 (Put common autoload code into auto_load() function)
broke handling of autoload environment variable not being set.
The bootp/dhcp code will just keep on requesting IP address forever
and never start TFTP download.
Fix it by moving TftpStart() outside the conditional like it was before.

Built-in Ethernet adapters support setting the mac address by means of a
ethaddr environment variable for each interface (ethaddr, eth1addr, eth2addr).
This adds similar support to the USB network side, using the names
usbethaddr, usbeth1addr, etc. They are kept separate since we don't want
a USB device taking the MAC address of a built-in device or vice versa.

At least on ARM the ipaddr is only set in board_init_r function. The
problem is if ipaddr is not defined in environment importing another
environment defined don't update the ipaddr value.
For example, suppose we've a default environment without net variables
defined and we want to import an uEnv.txt environment from SD-card like
this:

gatewayip=192.168.2.1
serverip=192.168.2.114
Then if you try boot from NFS results in:

Extends the mii_dev structure to participate in a full-blown MDIO and
PHY driver scheme. The mii_dev structure and miiphy calls are modified
in such a way to allow the original mii command and miiphy
infrastructure to work as before, but also to support a new set of APIs
which allow (among other things) sharing of PHY driver code and 10G support
The mii command will continue to support normal PHY management functions
(Clause 22 of 802.3), but will not be changed to support 10G
(Clause 45).
The basic design is similar to PHY Lib from Linux, but simplified for
U-Boot's network and driver infrastructure.
We now have MDIO drivers and PHY drivers
An MDIO driver provides:
read
write
reset
A PHY driver provides:
(optionally): probe
config - initial setup, starting of auto-negotiation
startup - waiting for AN, and reading link state
shutdown - any cleanup needed
The ethernet drivers interact with the PHY Lib using these functions:
phy_connect()
phy_config()
phy_startup()
phy_shutdown()
Each PHY driver can be configured separately, or all at once using
config_phylib_all_drivers.h (added in the patch which adds the drivers)
We also provide generic drivers for Clause 22 (10/100/1000), and
Clause 45 (10G) PHYs.
We also implement phy_reset(), and call it in phy_connect(). Because
phy_reset() is essentially the same as miiphy_reset, but:
a) must support 10G PHYs, and
b) should use the phylib primitives,
we implement miiphy_reset, using phy_reset(), but only when
CONFIG_PHYLIB is set. Otherwise, we just use the old version. In this
way, we save on compile size, even if we don't manage to save code size.

This adds support for using USB Ethernet dongles in host mode. This is just
the framework - drivers will come later. A new config option called
CONFIG_USB_HOST_ETHER can be defined in board config files to switch this
on.
The was originally written by NVIDIA and was cleaned up for release by the
Chromium authors.

Before this commit, weak symbols were not overridden by non-weak symbols
found in archive libraries when linking with recent versions of
binutils. As stated in the System V ABI, "the link editor does not
extract archive members to resolve undefined weak symbols".
This commit changes all Makefiles to use partial linking (ld -r) instead
of creating library archives, which forces all symbols to participate in
linking, allowing non-weak symbols to override weak symbols as intended.
This approach is also used by Linux, from which the gmake function
cmd_link_o_target (defined in config.mk and used in all Makefiles) is
inspired.
The name of each former library archive is preserved except for
extensions which change from ".a" to ".o". This commit updates
references accordingly where needed, in particular in some linker
scripts.
This commit reveals board configurations that exclude some features but
include source files that depend these disabled features in the build,
resulting in undefined symbols. Known such cases include:
- disabling CMD_NET but not CMD_NFS;
- enabling CONFIG_OF_LIBFDT but not CONFIG_QE.

This has always been confusing, and the idea of these functions returning the
number of interfaces initialized was half-baked and ultimately pointless.
Instead, act more like regular functions and return < 0 on failure, >= 0 on
success.
This change shouldn't break anything.

Commit 6e37b1a3a25004d3df5867de49fff6b3fc9c4f04 modifies several net calls
to take a (const char *) parameter instead of (char *), but in some cases
the modified functions call other functions taking (char *). The end result
is warnings about discarding the const qualifier.
This patch fixes these other function signatures.

Some commands operate on eth device names (like 'mii'), but those cannot
be passed on the command line as one argument. So detect devices like

TFTP'ing a file of size 1747851 bytes with CONFIG_IP_DEFRAG and
CONFIG_TFTP_BLOCKSIZE set to 4096 fails with a timeout, because
the last fragment is not taken into account. This patch fixes
IP fragments having less than 8 bytes of payload.

Add a new function to the eth_device struct for programming a network
controller's hardware address.
After all network devices have been initialized and the proper MAC address
for each has been determined, make a device driver call to program the
address into the device. Only device instances with valid unicast addresses
will be programmed.

For some reason, (which I can't find any documentation on), if U-Boot
gives a port number higher than 17500 to a Microsoft DNS server, the
server will reply to port 17500, and U-Boot will ignore things (since
that isn't the port it asked the DNS server to reply to).
This fixes that by ensuring the random port number is less than 17500.

So far, TFTP negotiated a fixed retransmission timeout of 5 seconds.
In some cases (busy networks, slow TFTP servers) this caused very
slow transfers. A new environment variable "tftptimeout" allows to
set this timeout. Lowering this value may make downloads succeed
faster in networks with high packet loss rates or with unreliable
TFTP servers.

There are boards out there that do not have network support in
U-Boot (CONFIG_CMD_NET not set), but they do so in Linux. This
makes it desirable to be able to port network configuration (like
the IP address) to the Linux kernel.
We should not make the passing of the IP configuration to Linux
dependent on U-Boot features / settings.
For this, make getenv_IPaddr() global. This fixes build error
u-boot/lib_xxx/board.c:360: undefined reference to `getenv_IPaddr'
on various architectures.

- NfsTimeout() does not correctly update the NFS timeout value which
results in NfsTimeout() only being called once in certain situations.
This can result in the 'nfs' command hanging indefinetly. For
example, the command:
nfs 192.168.0.1:/home/user/file
will not exit until ctrl-c is pressed if 192.168.0.1 does not have an
NFS server running.
This issue is resolved by reinitializting the NFS timeout value inside
NfsTimeout() when a timeout occurs.
- Make the 'nfs' command print the 'T' character when a timeout occurs.
Previously there was no indication that timeouts were occuring.
- Mimic the 'tftpboot' command and when a download fails print "Retry
count exceeded; starting again", and restart the download taking the
'netretry' environment variable into account.

Optionally add RFC 2349 "Transfer Size Option", so we can minimize the
time spent sending data over the UART (now print a single line during a
tftp transfer).
- If turned on (CONFIG_TFTP_TSIZE), U-Boot asks for the size of the file.
- if receives the file size, a single line (50 chars) are printed.
one hash mark == 2% of the file downloaded.
- if it doesn't receive the file size (the server doesn't support RFC
2349, prints standard hash marks (one mark for each UDP frame).

Increasing the block size is useful if CONFIG_IP_DEFRAG is
used. Howerver, the last fragments in a burst may overflow the
receiving ethernet, so the default is left at 1468, with thre new
CONFIG_TFTP_BLOCKSIZE for config files. Further, "tftpblocksize"
can be set in the environment.

The defragmenting code is enabled by CONFIG_IP_DEFRAG; the code is
useful for TFTP and NFS transfers. The user can specify the maximum
defragmented payload as CONFIG_NET_MAXDEFRAG (default 16k).
Since NFS has a bigger per-packet overhead than TFTP, the static
reassembly buffer can hold CONFIG_NET_MAXDEFRAG + the NFS overhead.
The packet buffer is used as an array of "hole" structures, acting as
a double-linked list. Each new fragment can split a hole in two,
reduce a hole or fill a hole. No support is there for a fragment
overlapping two diffrent holes (i.e., thre new fragment is across an
already-received fragment).

In the previous enetaddr refactoring, the assumption with commit 56b555a644
was that the eth layer would handle the env -> device enetaddr syncing.
This was not the case as eth_initialize() is called only once and the sync
occurs there. So make sure the eth_init() function does the env -> device
sync with every network init.

Linux's netconsole works much better when you can pass it the MAC address of
the server. (otherwise it just uses broadcast, which everyone else on my
network complains about :)
This sets the env var "serveraddr" (to match ethaddr), so that you can pass
it to linux with whatever bootargs you want to....

- README.dns is added
- syntax is changed (now takes a third option, the env var to store
the result in)
- add a random port() function in net.c

- dns just returns unless a env var is given
- run through checkpatch, and clean up style issues

- failure returns much faster (if server responds, don't wait for

The problem is that BOOTP_SIZE uses ETHER_HDR_SIZE which is 14 bytes.
If sending a VLAN tagged frame (when env variable vlan is set) this
should be VLAN_ETHER_HDR_SIZE=18 which is what NetSetEther returns.

The patch fixes the bug of partial initialization of global network
parameters.
Upon u-boot's start up the first ping command causes a failure of the
consequent TFTP command. It happens in the recently added mechanism of
the NetLoop initialization where initialization of global network
parameters is separated in the NetInitLoop routine which is called per
env_id change. Thus, ping request will initialize the network parameters
necessary for ping operation only, afterwards the env_changed_id will be
set to the env_id that will prevent all following initialization requests
from other protocols.
The problem is that the initialized by ping subset of network parameters
is not sufficient for other protocols and particularly for TFTP which
requires the NetServerIp also.

Declare new utility functions for converting between the environment
variables (eth*addr) and the binary MAC address representation. This way
we can unify all the random places that already do this kind of thing.
The functions in question:

NetLoop polls every cycle with getenv some environment variables.
This is horribly slow, especially when the environment is big.
This patch reads only the environment variables in NetLoop,
when they were changed.
Also moved the init part of the NetLoop function in a seperate
function.

This patch removes volatile from:

Due to a bug, avr32-gcc will assume that ip is aligned on a word boundary when
using volatile, which causes an exception since xip isn't aligned on a word
boundary.

The TftpStart() function modifies the 'BootFile'
string when 'BootFile' contains both an IP address
and filename (eg 1.2.3.4:/path/file). This causes
subsequent calls to TftpStart to incorrectly parse
the TFTP filename and server IP address to use.

This patch will move au1x00_eth_initialize from net/eth.c to cpu_eth_init
as a part of ongoing eth_initialize cleanup work. The function ret value
is also fixed as it should be negative on fail.

There are two aspects of a TFTP transfer involving timeouts:
1. timeout waiting for initial server reply after sending RRQ
2. timeouts while transferring actual data from the server
Since the upcoming auto-update feature attempts a TFTP download during each
boot, it is undesirable to have a long delay when the TFTP server is not
available. Thus, this commit makes the server timeout (1.) configurable by two
global variables:
TftpRRQTimeoutMSecs
TftpRRQTimeoutCountMax
TftpRRQTimeoutMSecs overrides default timeout when trying to connect to a TFTP
server, TftpRRQTimeoutCountMax overrides default number of connection retries.
The total delay when trying to download a file from a non-existing TFTP server
is TftpRRQTimeoutMSecs x TftpRRQTimeoutCountMax milliseconds.
Timeouts during file transfers (2.) are unaffected.

Enforce millisecond semantics of the first argument to NetSetTimeout() --
the change is transparent for well-behaving boards (CFG_HZ == 1000 and
get_timer() countiing in milliseconds).
Rationale for this patch is to enable millisecond granularity for
network-related timeouts, which is needed for the upcoming automatic
software update feature.
Summary of changes:
- do not scale the first argument to NetSetTimeout() by CFG_HZ
- change timeout values used in the networking code to milliseconds

Added as a convenience for other platforms that uses MPC8360 (has 8 UCC).
Six eth interface is chosen because the platform I am using combines
UCC1&2 and UCC3&4 as 1000 Eth and the other four UCCs as 10/100 Eth.

If a board has a variable number of flash banks, there are empty entries
in flash_info[] and CFG_DIRECT_FLASH_TFTP is set, tftp boot fails with
"Outside available Flash". This patch skips flash banks with unknown
flash ids.

DM644x is just one of a series of DaVinci chips that use the EMAC driver.
By replacing all the function names that start with dm644x_* to davinci_*
we make these function more portable. I have tested this change on my EVM.
DM6467 is another DaVinci SOC which uses the EMAC driver and i will
be sending patches that add DaVinci DM6467 support to the list soon.

on the network with it's offered IP number; it should not reply until
after it has received a DHCP ACK message. Also ensures that U-Boot
does it's DHCPREQUEST as broadcast (per RFC 2131).
