kconfig: remove meaningless prefixes in defconfig files Since commit e02ee2548afe (kconfig: switch to single .config configuration), the prefixes in defconfig files such as "+S:", "+ST:", etc., are meaningless. arm: Migrate SYS_THUMB_BUILD to Kconfig, introduce SPL_SYS_THUMB_BUILD Today, we have cases where we wish to build all of U-Boot in Thumb2 mode for various reasons. We also have cases where we only build SPL in Thumb2 mode due to size constraints and wish to build the rest of the system in ARM mode. So in this migration we introduce a new symbol as well, SPL_SYS_THUMB_BUILD to control if we build everything or just SPL (or in theory, just U-Boot) in Thumb2 mode. ARM: Default to using optimized memset and memcpy routines We have long had available optimized versions of the memset and memcpy functions that are borrowed from the Linux kernel. We should use these in normal conditions as the speed wins in many workflows outweigh the relatively minor size increase. However, we have a number of places where we're simply too close to size limits in SPL and must be able to make the size vs performance trade-off in those cases. Clean all defconfigs with savedefconfig In order to reduce merge conflicts and to maintain the simplest possible defconfig files, we should be using the savedefconfig feature of Kconfig every time a new feature is added. This keeps the defconfig settings to a minimum (only those things not default) and keeps them in the same order as the Kconfig options. Move default y configs out of arch/board Kconfig Some archs/boards specify their own default by pre-defining the config which causes the Kconfig system to mix up the order of the configs in the defconfigs... This will cause merge pain if allowed to proliferate. Remove the configs that behave this way from the archs. A few configs still remain, but that is because they only exist as defaults and do not have a proper Kconfig entry.
