SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel style When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. sunxi: change SUNXI_HIGH_SRAM option to SUNXI_SRAM_ADDRESS The new Allwinner H6 SoC has its SRAM A1 at neither 0x0 nor 0x10000, but it's at 0x20000. Thus the SUNXI_HIGH_SRAM option needs to be refactored to support this new configuration. Change it to SUNXI_SRAM_ADDRESS, which holds the real address of SRAM A1 in the memory map. sunxi: retrieve FEL-provided values to environment variables This patch extends the misc_init_r() function on sunxi boards to test for the presence of a suitable "sunxi" SPL header. If found, and the loader ("fel" utility) provided a non-zero value for the boot.scr address, then the corresponding environment variable fel_scriptaddr gets set. misc_init_r() also sets (or clears) the "fel_booted" variable depending on the active boot device, using the same logic as spl_boot_device(). The goal is to provide sufficient information (within the U-Boot environment) to make intelligent decisions on how to continue the boot process, allowing specific customizations for the "FEL boot" case. But the code in the boot ROM stores the information about the boot media at the offset 0x28 before passing control to the SPL. NAND and eMMC probably have their own special magic numbers too. Currently the corrupted byte is a part of one of the instructions in the reset vectors table: b reset ldr pc, _undefined_instruction ldr pc, _software_interrupt <- Corruption happens here ldr pc, _prefetch_abort ldr pc, _data_abort ldr pc, _not_used ldr pc, _irq ldr pc, _fiq In practice this does not cause any visible problems, but it's still better to fix it. As a bonus, the reported boot media type can be later used in the 'spl_boot_device' function, but this is out of the scope of this patch. sunxi: Allow booting from 128KB SD/eMMC offset On modern Allwinner SoCs (tested: H2+, A64, H5, H6) the BootROM can actually load the SPL also from sector 256 (128KB) of an SD card or eMMC chip. For more details, see [1]. In this case the boot source indicator (written at offset 0x28 of SRAM A1) has bit 4 set, so it's 0x10 for SD card and 0x12 for eMMC. Add those new values to the existing boot source check to allow booting the SPL from those "high" disk offsets as well. For this to work, the value of CONFIG_SYS_MMCSD_RAW_MODE_U_BOOT_SECTOR needs to be adjusted, for instance to 0x140 (right after the high SPL). Doing this dynamically sounds desirable, but looks nasty to implement. mach-sunxi: Add boot device detection for SUNIV/F1C100s In contrast to other Allwinner SoCs the F1C100s BROM does not store a boot source indicator in the eGON header in SRAM. This leaves the SPL guessing where we were exactly booted from, and for instance trying the SD card first, even though we booted from SPI flash. By inspecting the BROM code and by experimentation, Samuel found that the top of the BROM stack contains unique pointers for each of the boot sources, which we can use as a boot source indicator. This patch removes the existing board_boot_order bodge and replace it with a proper boot source indication function. The only caveat is that this only works in the SPL, as the SPL header gets overwritten with the exception vectors, once U-Boot proper takes over. Always return MMC0 as the boot source, when called from U-Boot proper, as a placeholder for now, until we find another way.
